This is so annoying, i couldn’t appeal online on APCOA so i made a complaint with my appeal and sent it to their email.

They told me POFA doesn’t apply as it has not been issued under Schedule 4….. yada yada

I have 2 ongoing cases with them and they referenced another Letter which i have not received any correspondence, and has nothing to do with this one!

Should i keep pushing this one for it to either be accepted or try and get a POPLA code.

    Ignore them

  • Will they likely stop pursuing the case?

    Ignore them.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

i’ve just come back to the UK having parked in the long stay parking at Gatwick South Terminal.

On the way out, I was unable to determine where to go to get to the M23 and ended up having to drive through the drop-off zone (which I did without stopping).

I imagine they’re gonna want to charge me a tenner, despite the unclear signs to the motorway (they are much clearer on the exit from short stay parking). I don’t feel that I ought to have to pay.

Does this guidance above still hold? If it does, then I should wait for a “PCN” to the registered keeper, and send the response above back to them, right?

This happened earlier today, at about 11am. I’ve got until midnight to proactively pay.

    Thanks.

Yes it does always work, but you won't get a PCN if you drove straight through in seconds, not minutes.

Hi folks, I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I received 2PCNs from Manchester airport.

The driver of my car dropped off my parents at the airport, they're seniors and do not speak english, so the driver abandoned the vehicle and helped them inside and made sure they went through the gates ok.

Upon arriving at home to pay for the parking, the APCOA website wasn't working, tried the day after and still could not make the payment, after this attempt there was no option to make a payment.

APCOA was subsequently contacted by email to explain the situation, but they never replied.

I now have received £60+£60 to pay. The driver did not see any signage about leaving the vehicle unattended as depicted in the enclosed pictures.

I understand this is human error, however £120 is a theft and the car I am the registered keeper of was 100% not the only vehicle left unattended.

Do I have any grounds to appeal? I'd be happy to pay for my short stay, but being charged for helping 2 seniors get on a plane and for an online service failure is incredibly unreasonable
