thanks, sorry to be a nuisance, but just checking it won't cause me a problem that I made a £5 payment for the same car registration (although a different time)?
It's also worth noting that they accepted that payment with no check to see if the car had been there at the time given - seems a bit poor admin

I wouldn't worry about the fact you paid £5, just send the appeal by the registered keeper. 

The Mersey Crossing is an entirely different scenario, coming under statutory control, managed by a local authority, with the ability to issue penalties and with a far different appeals process. An APCOA parking charge is not in the same league as a council penalty.

Completely and totally irrelevant.  Just do the appeal and stop thinking about it

Another Manchester Airport APCOA invoice cancelled.

My appeal was three words - No keeper liability.

Got lost at Gatwick airport on 8th August and ended up driving through the South Terminal Drop Off point without intending to.

Considered paying the £7 anyway, but as I didn't stop, I thought it was unfair.

Got the letter from NCP a week or two later. Went to the appeals website and filled in the details from an earlier post here. Obviously appealling as keeper.

Today the letter arrived: "Based on the information provided, this notice has been cancelled and no further action is required".

So, my thanks to everyone who has put information on this thread. Community power!
