    Yes.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just had a pcn for being 3 mins and 30 seconds at 0330 in the morning. Genuine mistake on my part, have made the run and paid on many occasions. Appealed using the new script on page 1 of this forum will update.

Petition asking Govt to Ban Drop-off charges at airports
    Closes 19th Nov 2025
There was another one put forward which was better worded. It was not accepted as this one was already open. Only one petition can run on the same issue on govt website.
Added mine, now at 1,633 - still a long way to go, why aren't more people (everybody) signing this petition?
Seems there's a few on Change.org site. The petition below opened 13th July and has already attracted 47,046 signings.

I've signed that one as well.  Seems strange they wanted £2 to sign a petition to stop a £5 drop-off fee!
  • Thank you in advance to the legends who have made this thread and template!!

I'm just wondering if I can use the template at the beginning for a Manchester Airport  APCOA 'parking charge' instead of a 'PCN'? Or does the wording need changing slightly? (Is it obvious I've got no idea haha)

Certainly does! I've only used that site once in the past to support my neighbour's wee girl's petition don't recall being asked to pay.

Went in to sign I opted to share link instead of paying £2, not very easy, prefer the uk parliament petitions.

'Parking Charge' and 'PCN' are one and the same. Yes, use that template which was updated just a week ago to bring it further in line with current activity, including APCOA at MAN.

It's as near to a silver bullet as possible, but, should APCOA not respond with a cancellation, rather asking you to confirm driver details, ignore that and a cancellation should come through in due course. The template does try to head them off fishing for this information, but the conveyor belt nature of pursuing PCNs might see you 'selected' for a bit of angling! 🎣
