It links to an Adobe pdf thing to fill out and submit. You need to know your account details though.1

I applied through the website and so far there's been no request for ID, selfies, etc. Just needed my personal details to verify me electronically.

When I applied I received an email afterwards thanking me for applying and now subject to final checks .0

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I am fortunate in that I already have a current account with them and don't have to wait for but they ignored my request for a specific switch date and selected a switch date themselves. They didn't confirm they had received my switch request, and they didn't tell me about the change in switch date, which is now a week earlier than I wanted it to be. I found that out from the bank I am switching from. It doesn't cause me a problem but why did they change the date and not even tell me?
My online savings account, applied for and approved 2 days ago, still does not show online. COOP CS says it takes some time for the account to be opened, and they cannot tell me how long it will take to become available online, or when I can make a deposit. I would recommend that if you plan to go for the £50 bonus from the savings account that you apply for that account asap after your current account is up and running.
Getting through to COOP CS on the phone takes a lot of patience. 35 minutes wait. The good news is that CS seem to be competent, if limited in what they can do by the somewhat archaic COOP processes.

As previously mentioned, I applied for the switch at 11:20pm on 15 January. As an existing Co-operative Bank account holder, I had to submit the application via the Adobe Acrobat Sign system. Having still only received the two automatically generated email acknowledgements from Adobe, but nothing from the Co-op themselves, I decided to call the bank today (on 03457 212212).
After holding on for over 30 minutes (was warned about the time scale at the start of the call) I eventually spoke with an agent, who went through the usual security procedures. She then advised that according to their system they had received my application and had begun working on it today. While on the call I received a text message from the Co-operative Bank thanking me for switching to the Co-op and advising that the switch will complete on 25 January.
