yeah it is easier, as i only have one dd on that account, so saves me setting up any more in interim, but it states as follows:trickydicky14 said:where coop was direct debits and/or standing orders.
That's unusual to allow just standing orders and they allow you to set them up after the switch, that's a big help in my book.
b) has at least 2 active direct debits or standing orders in place on the eligible account at the point of payment (this can include any that are transferred as part of the switch);
so i have the 1 dd already on the account and have put two standing orders on to accounts of my own elsewhereMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..1 -

I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
Did anyone have to upload ID? I called as hadn’t heard anything - they asked “have you uploaded your proof of ID and address”? And i said no because nobody asked / told me to!!! Seems as farcical to open an account as Ulster…2

How long can Co-op take to accept your application? We applied for 2 sole accounts yesterday, but not received anything as yet.1

The first email I received ended up in my spam folder so maybe worth checking yours.worriednoob said:How long can Co-op take to accept your application? We applied for 2 sole accounts yesterday, but not received anything as yet.1 -
I just applied, the form states at the bottom it's usually next day but can take up to 5 - no-one but they know how long it will take, probably longer due to the influx of serial switchersThe_Green_Hornet said:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

True, but it doesn't hurt to check your spam folder as they will be sending you emails as part of the application process.Nasqueron said:

Thanks buddy. Yeah that was the first thing I did. Nothing as yet. However, we've managed to open the TSB accounts almost instantly and start the switch process, so that's something at least.The_Green_Hornet said:

I cannot remember what date they quoted for switch completion during the application process and it's not in any email received so far; roughly how many days after application did they say?
