I cannot remember what date they quoted for switch completion during the application process and it's not in any email received so far; roughly how many days after application did they say?
I applied today and switch date for me 12 Feb
Also just applied to switch from Nationwide to CoOp, and the 12th of February was the earliest switch date available!

Yeah, 9th for me (from Monday application), obviously having a busy time.

Just as a data point I applied 8pm yesterday and email confirming success subject to final checks received 5.30pm today.
  • Just received the below email - Does this mean they want more evidence or is this the normal email before the account opens?

I think thats normal? If I'm honest I didn't read on below the bold lettering on mine.

Thanks.  I'm just curious as to what those formalities are.  Also did more emails follow-up after this email or am I now to wait for something in the post?

I've had nothing since but its only been around 48 hours, I'd guess the next communication would be another e-mail.

I could be wrong so see if anyone says anything different.
  • Can you open the co op account first and then request a switch once it’s open?

Can anyone say what is required for the account application? Obviously you need to fill in personal details, etc., but what I'm asking about is extra requirements, such as a selfie holding photo ID or a video (things that always seem to cause me problems!). Thanks.
