Switch completed yesterday. Paid in £1000 today, logged into internet banking (not mobile app), and made five Apple Pay card payments. I presume Apple Pay card payments do count?0

Thought I would share my story, now that I have received £100
- Existing coop everyday rewards account holder and never got switching bonus but have received RAF bonus
- Switch initiated on 19th Jan with 2 DDs on my donor account
- In between also opened up online saver account and deposited £30 (added a little extra)
- Switch completed on 2nd Feb
- Deposited £1000 and made 5 Debit card transactions on 5th Feb (anyways I do this to earn monthly rewards but did it again for switching bonus purpose)
- Again deposited £30 to online saver as I wasn't sure if I should have done this before switching
- Received email today (7th Feb) that £100 have been deposited account and money/bonus was really credited
Same steps for my OH and got £100
Hopefully we will get £50 as well in coming days/weeks.4 -
I assume the RAF bonus was for recommending someone else to switch rather than switching yourself?Ghostcrawler said:- Existing coop everyday rewards account holder and never got switching bonus but have received RAF bonus0 -

Can anyone tell me if Apple Pay payments count towards the 5 debit card payments?0

I know when it came to meeting the requirements for TSB to pay the additional bonus they accepted Apple Pay as a debit card payment.overspender22 said:Can anyone tell me if Apple Pay payments count towards the 5 debit card payments?1 -
My switch started 2 Feb and due to complete tomorrow 9 Feb. Letter arrived today from losing bank TSB, standard sorry to lose you.0

Under 1.3 c) of the terms it does state that any digital wallet transactions are included. My 5 Google Wallet transactions counted as the required 5 debit card payments. I would assume Apple is the same.overspender22 said:Can anyone tell me if Apple Pay payments count towards the 5 debit card payments?1 -
My switch completed today. Two standing orders showing. Deposited £1,000, did 5 octopus top ups (50p each time) and put £25 in savings account. Fingers crossed.3

Switch completed 06/02, 5 Apple Pay transactions early hours of 07/02, which cleared today. £1000 paid in on 07/02 too. Logged into online banking from desktop pc this morning.Received an email not long after confirming £100 switch bonus deposited into my account - it didn’t show for about two hours but it’s now there.Email also confirms I’m eligible for the savings £50 bonus if I keep the £25 I paid into it there until 23/03.Terribly slow application process and comms, BUT excellent in terms of paying out quickly I must give them credit for.4
