Co Op Switch offer (seen 15th January 2024)

I had my switch letter from Barclays (app notification today for a letter dated 6th)

Should still proceed on 13th as planned, 1 DD gone already and 1 to follow

just wondering, has any one else noticed how long it takes for the payees (i.e for faster payments to be made to) to be added onto coop site for switching.  My switch is due to complete on Monday, so i am technically on day 5 of the 7 working day switching process, however on prior switches elsewhere, i can usually see the new payees for faster payments online by this point, however nothing showing on there as yet.

There is also no mention of the two standing orders that are moving from nationwide to Co-op.   Do they not show up until the actual switch date for coop? (as on other switches done in the past can usually see them on the new account by day 4/day 5?

I can see the direct debit that should be moving ok on there, which i why i thought i would be able to see the standing orders and account payees for other payment by now (not showing on coop app or the coop website)

I'm not worrying too much yet as worse case senario of don't move will add another standing order, as new manually direct onto coop but just wondering

I complete on 12th and all dd’s appeared in the co op account two days ago but no other payees as yet

thanks Mable, that reassures me that it just be how coop set up on switches work,

Today is switch completion day.  Just checked  nothing moved in yet for me or other half.  What has been the experience of others does it move across sometime later in the day?

Same here. All D/D showing, only one of two S/O showing and I can still see money in my Barclays account and it's not been transferred over to CO-OP yet. Is it by end of day on switch date?

My barclays now disappeared. Will register for online banking now and meet the t+c!

for me it was early in the morning because I checked it around 9am and money incl DD/payees was moved to Coop whilst my donor a/c was still showing up and accessible with no money in it.  Same for OH

It was well before 9 when I checked.  Will try again later this morning when I get home.

Nothing on e-mail yet, tbh not checked the Co op online but Barclays account (it better be one or I will kick off) is still there loud n proud.
