Co Op Switch offer (seen 15th January 2024)

The criteria listed all say they have to be done in the 30 days AFTER switch completes which is fine but one of the items is to register for online/mobile banking. Key word here is register rather than use.
Has anyone done this before the switch completes? I suspect it's just sloppy wording but worried that I've got everything setup so I could apply for the savings account and might have screwed my payment.
Re- the DDs or SOs... it says "have 2 direct debits or standing orders set up" rather than set up..0 -
Hi
Can anyone explain to me why any of the criteria for the switch incentive would need to be done after the switch? Surely it's just a badly worded bit of text. Unfortunately like everyone else I will be waiting until after the switch has gone through.

I would assume that 5 Google Pay (or Apple Pay) transactions would be enough to satisfy the debit transactions requirement post switch.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!2 -

I will certainly be having a moan if registering before switching is done excludes you from the offer, especially as the welcome emails all push you towards getting started online - the rest of it (£1000 etc) can wait until after switch is done as I will be moving 2 DD with it, just in case.
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

The actual statement isAnd in the 30 calendar days following the switch completing, you must do the following with the account:
Register for our online banking services or mobile app.I have received my account details by email as well as my card but no pin yet and unless it changed by switch is not due until the 12th FebruaryI have registered for online access now I have the account details, but I will wait to install the app until after the switch is complete. I'm sure it won't make a bit of difference and happy to be called a pedant but this should meet their wooly T&Cs.

You give them too much credit here

So I had applied for the account in time for the offer, but didn't initiate the switch immediately. I signed their electronic switch form a week ago on Jan 19 and still haven't gotten more than the Adobe sign confirmation. Starting to get worried. Anyone else in the same position?0
