Ah that’s it, it’s for the saver. They’re so awfully slow at everything, the saver showed two days after applying and the email came 4 days after0

To add - as many others haven’t I’ve had no confirmation or information about my switch to the co op whatsoever (apart from the adobe form email). So on Thursday I sent a message via online banking asking them to confirm my switch date. Reply today says; we’ve sent a letter in the post about your switch. So, that doesn’t answer the question. They’re useless!1

In co-op switch-to-us webpage, under the heading "I want to open a new account", it states that
"We have a range of accounts to suit your needs. When you should apply to switch will depend on which you choose.Apply to switch as part of the applicationStandard Current Account – our no-fee current account.Apply to switch once your account is openEveryday Extra - Our packaged bank account – comes with worldwide travel insurance, UK & European breakdown cover, and mobile phone insurance, all for just £15 per month. Exclusions and limitations apply."
How should I interpret the above as I don't want to miss out on offer after doing all other requirements but just didn't request the switch as part of Standard Current Account. As I receive a debit card for opened Standard Account out of blue in the post, I want to switch for the offer!
If I understand as follows,
"The switch must be requested as part of the application for Standard Current Account (for Switch &save offer period 15-19 Jan 2024) or apply to switch once the Account is opened for Everyday Extra Account (until 16 Feb 3024).",
then I won't be eligible for offer as T&C stated that
"6. You will not be eligible for, or qualify for this Offer after the expiry of the Offer Period unless your application to switch your main account to your Co-operative Bank current account was received prior to the expiry of the Offer Period."
Any suggestions please? Ta.1 -
Applied on the 17th. Card arrived last week, pin arrived today. No confirmation about the switch yet. They're slow due to demand they probably didn't expect. If you've had the welcome e-mails, I can see no reason why they would not be processing the switch as requested.2

From the Co-op website
Our Switch and save offer ended on 19 January 2024
To receive the incentive, you’ll need to have met all the offer criteria, and have sent your current account application or request a switch to an existing account by the end of the day on Friday 19 January 2024.
If you’ve applied for a new account within the offer period (15 January 2024 – 19 January 2024), you’ll also need to request your full current account switch by 16 February 2024.

Thanks Stargunner. That's what I thought.
Co-op's offer page causes so much confusion conflicting with their T&C stating
"If you’ve applied for a new account within the offer period (15 January 2024 – 19 January 2024), you’ll also need to request your full current account switch by 16 February 2024.",
As it generally mentioned as "a new account", which might lead a lot of people like me who applied Standard Current account during the offer period would request to fully switch until 16 Feb just to see the offer being refused.

I was therefore reassured to receive this email from the Co-op today reminding me of the steps necessary to secure the incentive:
It seems they have taken account of the two standing orders I finally managed to set up yesterday, so overall happy with that.Important information about your Switch and Save Offer
Date 26/01/2024 Dear [HHUK]
We wanted to thank you for taking the time to switch to the original ethical bank! In order to qualify for your initial £100 switch incentive payment as part of our Switch and Save offer, you must meet all of the eligibility criteria.
As a reminder, you still need to complete the following criteria in the 30 days following your switch completing, which means you have until 24/02/2024 (you may have met some of these criteria already):Make a minimum of 5 debit card or digital wallet transactions
Deposit a minimum of £1,000 into your new account (this may be transferred as part of the switch)
Once you have met these criteria and received payment of the £100 switch incentive, you will then be eligible to qualify for the £50 savings bonus.
For the full terms and conditions of the incentive, visit co-operativebank.co.uk/products/bank-accounts/switch-and-save/.
If you are a new customer, and you are yet to meet these criteria, this won’t stop you from using your new Co-operative Bank account. You can start to use your new account as soon as you receive your card and PIN.
Yours Sincerely
The Co-operative Bank
AFAICS, the emails are personalised, not least because they tell you the date by which you need to complete some qualifying actions. My switch completed on Friday, I got the confirmation email today. They have noticed I had made the min £1,000 deposit [on Saturday] and say I now need to make debit card payments. As it happens, I have also made these on Saturday but they are still pending as it takes a couple of working days to clear debit card payments. It looks like debit card payments might only be recognised for the switch offer once cleared so don't leave it to the last minute to make your debit card payments.
