Co Op Switch offer (seen 15th January 2024)

As they are an ethical bank is it ok if I eat meat?😄0

Registering for online banking was difficult as Co-op seemed to not understand that my name has a hyphen (despite it being how they address my emails), but I have finally managed it. The site is rubbish.
I applied and added my bank details for the switch on 18th Jan, and got confirmation yesterday of the account details. Now I've logged in I can't see anything about the switch. I'm worried that I fall into the gap of not having got the switch arranged before the offer ended, and not getting up to 16th Feb to arrange this. I've sent a secure message to them, so I will see what comes back. Very frustrating all round.£12k in 25 #14 £10,474.10/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k0 -

The first thing you see in online banking about the switch is when your money and your DDs/SOs have been transferred. This is not unique to the COOP but the same at all banks.
If you want to reconfirm that your switch request is in the pipeline, and you haven't got email or text confirmation for it, you could call them and ask.

No nothing via email or text, which was more my point, which I should have specified. I also cant see anything to request a switch on the site. I'll wait to see if they respond via secure message, I don't really have time to spend on the phone£12k in 25 #14 £10,474.10/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k0 -

Which told me nothing at all. And, I think, fibbed a bit about the letter (I'm expecting, in the first place, a text not a letter, as that's what other existing customers have reported). And also fibbed a bit about the process, referring to applying for a switch via online banking, when actually existing customers have to fill in a switch form via Adobe, not apply within online banking. Online maybe, but not online banking.1 -

Debit card arrived, sticker on it saying to call 03457 212 212 to register a Visa Secure password if I want to shop online. Never encountered that before.

...and with a wait time of over 20 minutes on the phone I think I'll leave that one for now. I'm only looking to tee up my debit card deposits to YBS/Skipton etc. - don't ever recall being prompted for a 3DS/Verified by Visa password with these sites anyway.Edit: https://www.ybs.co.uk/help/online/verified-by-visa-and-mastercard-securecode at least says you need to be enrolled in the scheme... presumably some banks do this automatically and with the Co-op you need to call.
