I couldn't get online registration to work so spent ages on the phone at the weekend and now have a username allocated that I don't seem to be able to change without ringing again but now seem to need to ring again for the debit card enablement where, perhaps, they will allocate a memorable name. So that will be twice I can't just type something in a field online or have it auto-generated to something secure, sigh.
I've never had either problem with other banks and, like others, don't know if/when the switch will happen as yet.0 -

I've bought 12p of petrol to achieve a similar outcome from a self-serve pump (no one was behind me).

Sounds like those years of gaming have come in useful for something. That'll be some quick trigger finger action.0

Anyone else finding registering on line to be a complete lottery! How on earth do you know when you opened all your current accounts. Anyone know if you do it wrong more than a few times it will never let you do it and so have to spend ages on the phone? The first name living with you thing is crazy , just guessed it meant first two letters.0
