Co Op Switch offer (seen 15th January 2024)

My wife received a letter dated 17th Jan today, which is a hard copy of the second email she had already on the 17th. Switch was set for earliest possible date 9th February during her application, so we wait while the wheels grind inexorably on...0

There was nothing at all. It looks they have updated the website later.
I wouldn't have switched if the end date was there.2 -
Applied Tuesday around 8pm. Email received this morning with account number and sort code.0

Both myself and my partner have also now received their email with the sort code and account number. I decided to phone Co-op and explain to the advisor that I have not received any confirmation of a switch taking place. He checked and has advised that he could see that a switch would start on 01/02/24 - This makes sense as the date had been given at time of switch application was 09/02/24, so that's 7 working days.
I still haven't setup the app or online banking as yet because the £100 switch T&C are confusing. They state
"And in the 30 calendar days following the switch completing, you must do the following with the account"
So does this mean that I should hold off registering the banking app/online until the switch is complete? Also what about the rest of the actions it's requesting? Do these need to be put on hold until the switch is complete?0 -
I'll probably do online banking before the switch completes and the app after for that reason to cover the bases.

I would say you can set up online banking and the app now, as existing customers are almost certainly already registered. To be 100% on the safe side, though, wait until your switch is done.
Use of the app doesn't seem to be required to qualify for the bonus.

It states register for online banking or the app.

Deposited £1050. Opened a savings account.
Then sent £1000 back to my main account which never arrived. It's supposed to be using faster payments, so sent 1p to the exact same recipient to test and it arrived straight away.
Contacted my main bank who say they can't see anything.
Will contact Coop tomorrow.
Your £1,000 payment back to where it came from is with 100% certainty being held up by the COOP fraud department. They might release it without talking to you, but then again, they might not.
All sorted now. Will repeat this once switch completes.

Made 3 applications on Friday night, two of which have been acknowledged via email (nothing for the 2nd application) all given switch dates of 13th February.
Just wondering if anyone has had to do online selfies before application is completedTypically confused and asking for advice0
