Evening all, and thank you for the thread x One day I’ll be a proper flylady who makes level 3 and beyond….wildest dreams and some!
Went to work in subzero, came home in lower subzero. I am now in cosy clothes, having done probably my worst yoga session ever. I might try a wake-up one tomorrow morning to make up for it.
No work tomorrow, but a friend is supposed to be coming to drag me out for what promises to be a cold and slippery walk - arranged before Christmas as the only date we could meet. Part of me is hoping that she will be satisfied with a cup of coffee instead. I also have a long list of jobs to get done.
Welcome back, GI 👋 and Slinky!
Oh and Round, I have obviously taken flylady support to the next level - in the last week, I have taken on the weight that you have lost, despite kidding myself that I was on a slinky regime 😳.
Stay warm all x10 -
Why thank you Fayolle 😊 That's very kind of you. I have a theory that matter cannot simply disappear; so if I'm losing weight someone, somewhere, is putting it on. It's physics. People scoff at me but ermmmm to my right people dieing of obesity, to my left people dieing of starvation. Case closed. 🤣
I'm showered, washed my hair, in my nightie, and all worn clothes are in the laundry hamper. My Annual Leave is coming to an end. Back on the hamster wheel tomorrow. Marvellous.

been a very busy work day today, not much gets done in the house on a Monday. MrFP has done 2 washes, so that is great. They are on the airiers and I have been moving things around onto radiators and off and more on etc! I have just tidies the lounge, cant believe how much mess the dog makes. I am seriously thinking about removing half his toys and rotating them like i used to do with the kids!!!!I have also started looking through the boxes of photos I bought into the lounge yesterday hoping to cull about half. But I think it is going to be very difficult, alot more difficult than I first thoughtThats it for today hopefully will make a list tomorrow and get to it!!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Hi all
Work planning meeting at the paid stuff today. I feel like I have been landed with 47 difficult projects and there are some changes on the way that all sound a bit unsettling. I think I could lose my senior manager who I really like. But I am not going to get in a flap about it, I will sit down tomorrow, make some lists, delegate any bits that I can and get on with it. It's just work, right?
Some home admin done today but 12 hours out of the house including a nice visit to MIL so not much flying. I did manage 20 minutes yoga too.
I need to be back in by 8 am tomorrow so need to be in bed and asleep soon.8 -
very proud of myself as I swam 24 lengths, and at least 10 of them were consecutive (no breaks). I’m still the slowest swimmer at outswim cancer but i am much faster than i was. Also, when i get out of the water, my legs don’t feel like they are made of lead.
It was cold at work today, even though the heating was on.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening everyone. I didn't get on yesterday and can't remember most of what I did but I don't think it involved much flying. I did go to an exhibition (Frans Hals at the Nation al Gallery). We were both supposed to be going because it is easy to drive into the West End on a Sunday and we can park near the gallery using A's blue badge. He changed his mind though because there was a demonstration on in Trafalgar Square and even though it wasn't until the afternoon he was worried it might be busy well before that. I still went, but on the bus after the 8.30 Mass, and it was fine and he could have gone in fact. The exhibition was really quiet, which was good, not least because I couldn't stay long. It was a rare trip out for me though so I enjoyed it.This morning I woke up really late for some reason and once I'd got going and done the eye drops I took a bag of recycling down and then walked to the end of the road to get some mince form the butcher and veggies from the greengrocer. I called in to the bookshop to see if they had got any more of the card I liked that they had run out of but they haven't come in yet. I came back, made lunch, washed up and rang the managing agent to ask what was happening about the roof patch repair, the remedial work on the badly installed emergency lighting and to chase a building condition report following a survey done a couple of months ago. I also replied to one of the other flat owners who was complaining to us about the recent hike in service charge to pay for the major roof works that need to be done next year.I received an email from my ISP about my second email to them chasing the £50 gift card. It said they were still looking into it and then 15 minutes later I received another one saying it was ready for me to claim, which I did, and it is now on my Amazon account waiting to be spent. @Asparklierblonde you wanted to know what happened - a good result in the end. I don't know if my neighbour has got his yet. He's in Hong Kong at the moment but I'm going to send him a WhatsApp to ask.I made tea (hardly any Christmas cake left now sadly) and washed up and then before I knew it, it was time to make supper, wash up and do a Waitrose delivery order. I'm now about to do the final part of the night time eye routine and then put out A's breakfast things and go to bed.8
