    Hi

Then why people say, don’t pay but don’t ignore the letters? When will they file the court claim & how long i can keep ignoring their letters?
    Thank you
    Some letters you do ignore
You have not received a genuine lbc
They have up to 6 years in England/ Wales to issue a claim

It means, i've to be vigilant for 6 years to arrive letters? What if i change my address & they send me letters in my current address instead of new address and i missed it?

You need to ensure they don't do that.
In other words, every time you change address you must advise the parking company of you new address and instruct them to erase your old address.
  • Hi. I am asking for help! I parked at a carpark run by a private firm. The price was £1 per hour. I paid £2 and returned to my car 1hr 56 mins later. I was with 3 colleagues (all in their own cars). All of us noticed we had 1hr of parking time on our tickets but paid for 2. We thought it was a time error on the ticket. I am the only one in the group to receive a fine! I have since returned to the carpark and notice a sticker has been put over the time and is now £1.50 an hr. My appeal has been rejected. What can I do? Thanks

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post, about how to deal with this, thereafter, please post a new thread of your own. Jumping in on someone else's thread will deflect attention away from the original poster's case, answering your points on this thread will lead to confusion as to whom the advice is directed. Can end up being expensive to one (or both) of you.

Your own thread will bring bespoke advice for you about your case.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
