Thank you for all of the good wishes.
Yesterday was a rather emotional day as predicted. It started and ended with pretty skies and I am grateful for that.
Many flowers, all of the chocolate, and a rather satisfying fritter on Japanese anemone and hardy geranium with some generously gifted funds.

We have loads of Japanese Anemones in our garden, they were there when we moved here in 1992. They are so hardy and bounce back year after year (a bit like me 🤣).Christmas is such a difficult time when you’ve lost a loved one. I know I’m not the only one on here who’s been thinking about you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Thank you both. I have inherited white JA that thrive in the complete shade under the huge Viburnum and Camelia by the church wall - fighting for space with elephants ears. Lots of blue hardy geranium throughout the garden so I hope these all take for a bit of variety in the colours. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Flowers sound lovely 😊 xxx6 -
Flowers sound lovely. Many many years ago a friend gave me a garden plant to celebrate the life of a boyfriend who had died. The plant has long gone but for many years I looked at it and remembered with peace and joy.
I hope you find that peace and some joy in your flowers. With love xMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!9 -
