Tiny steps us the right way for the house and the garden.  I'm just not very patient.

anyway I did quite a lot of pruning of the wisteria using the telescopic pruners rather than a ladder. It'll need more off but the green waste bins are full as the boys did the lawns too.  Tackled the top bits of the front honeysuckle too. Really useful bit of kit for higher pruning.

yesterday I did some kitchen clearance stuff which again is starting to look better. A lot of it is just putting things away, or into the sort later rooms of his stuff.

im hoping the registry office will ring today so I can sort the death certificate and that the funeral date will be confirmed.

You're making good progress. Keeping on top of the house and garden can be a challenge at the best of times. I can send photos of mine if you want...

Morning, I have to wait for them to ring me because it can't be sorted until they have the coroners paperwork. The funeral director says he has tried but is just getting an answering machine. Hopefully they will ring today.

I did some more deep cleaning in the kitchen yesterday to keep me busy.  Still plenty to do! There is mild guilt about so many things leaving the building but it looks much better already.  Once the kitchen is clear then I'll be able to sand and oil the worktops again. 

Mr fluffy kindly woke me up at 2am as he wanted to go out. That was then me wide awake for hours so I won't be doing much today.

Mine brought in a mouse at 1am a few days ago. Which bit me while it was exiting the building. The cat was exceptionally pleased with himself for the whole next 24 hours. "I have provided!" What a helper...

Oh dearie me Viking, I would be very unhappy about that. Not least because I have a real thing about mice. 

Someone did bring the kitten a live present a few days ago and she was most cross to have it removed.

One of mine has worked out that brining things in means them being removed, so has stopped. The other spends ages looking for them… 5am demand to stop the rain here this morning,
