Oh dear me no, we came home via the emporium of burgers as a treat for the DS. I did win a free moonpig card and some
money off a Jet 2 holiday 🤣My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Sending another virtual hug, take the cleaning out stuff at your own pace - if you give it a few months it won’t matter
DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Dawnybabes the tools are a nightmare here, two house rooms (study and inside workshop), garage, outside workshop, plus the bike shed and a scattering through places they shouldn't be.Generally I'm on head down and batter on. Hopefully the power is sorted now. We went through a spate of frequent power cuts a few years ago. The cable needed replacing under the road which meant them digging it up. They did so many temporary repairs before finally admitting it needed a permanent fix.I would be just like you in your situation with the keeping busy. I was the same when things weren’t looking good for Mr SA. It stops you thinking too much.Sending hugs xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
