Today at work was very quiet so I got some more IT problems sorted. I am now able to see my Roster so at least I know when I'm supposed to be at work. I also emailed the relevant people to sort out my access to my payslips. I'm now off for 12 days so will hopefully have a solution to the problem when I get back.
Health wise it's not been a good day, in fact it's been awful and I really have had enough so I'm going to take every painkiller I can get my hands on and go to bed.
Im meeting a friend for coffee tomorrow so I'm hoping I won't be in so much pain 🤞🤞Sometimes I can suck it up and battle through but today is not one of those days 😢Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

Families can be very trying sometimes. We have some issues with DH's family at the moment and I am having to bite my tongue to not tell them what I think of them.

I've spent 48 years biting my tongue which I strongly suspect in probably behind most of my health problems now. It's a constant internalised stressMakingabobor2 said:Families can be very trying sometimes. Sorry today is a bad day. I think your dad needed to hear she hadn't just abandoned them. It sounds like that settled him. Each individual is different, my nana spoke about my grandad being at work for months and my mum would tell her he had died. It never ended well and five minutes later she would say he was out shopping. My mum just eventually agreed with her, but this was what was best for her. Your dad must have been really dwelling on that and I'm glad you provided comfort to him, even if he has forgotten again.
Hope you get to have your coffee xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -
I hope your pain levels are better today, and enjoy your time off.
It sounds like you did the right thing with your Dad. It must be very hard."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Yes that's what I decided, it was a risk telling him and I wouldn't if I hadn't had it in my mind that it was bothering him. DD2 works with people with dementia and she said you should try and tell them the truth if at all possibleWillowtree222 said:Sorry today is a bad day.
