  • @Muddy_Walker, I was very impressed that you read everything in one go! OBL does draw you in, doesn't she? Did you know this is volume 2?
There’s a volume 1?? Marvellous! Do you have a link please?
I can't do links but it's called My journey to a debt free life 😊

@Onebrokelady, that's not good news about your legs. Is the remedy from the other day (Ibuprofen and raised on a pillow?) worth another try? It seemed to help before.

I'm so pleased the new neighbour seems nice! You must be relieved. You could even invite her to the friendship group as a way of getting to know her and helping her find her feet, if that would work for you.

Fingers crossed the neighbour is nice, and good idea on the friendship group.
She seems nice on first impressions 😊 it's the lady that works at the school with four children. B had been barking so I said sorry I hope you don't work nights , she said not to worry she works at the school and her kids can be a bit rowdy so they will balance each other out. It looks like she will be up and out early most of the days I'm going to work so B shouldn't bother them too much.

  • I didn't get much pottering done today. I did the floors had lunch then fell asleep on the settee . I woke up two hours later under a pile of cats 😀I don't feel much better to be honest so might have an early night.

Im meeting DD at 11 tomorrow and I'm hoping it will be dry and I will be able to walk because the buses are useless on a Sunday. I'll have to get a bus back though.

Hope you enjoyed your meet with dd2 and that the legs held out for you. I’ve joined a knit and natter group at the local wool shop and there’s only a few people go. It’s a token amount in the tea fund. It’s quite nice. Do they do anything like that near you. There’s definitely more natter than knitting 👍

We had a nice time thanks. There is a knit and natter group at my local wool shop but it's normally on when I'm at work. There's one at Dunelm in the cafe but again I can't always get to it  because it's a couple of buses away from me.
