  • ย this led to pain by numbers. I saw a really nice one so I bought it ๐Ÿ˜€ย
Are you sure this is good for you? :Dย

It's great that B is bouncy - I'm sure a lot of us check how she's doing! Perhaps this is the positive side of the drug she had that also seems to have had a downside? Such aย  difficult balance to aim for.
๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ just spotted the typo. It might be that the drug is working or it's coming out of her system I don't know. She was sick tonight and isn't too happy ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

ย I read something recently that said if you have trouble finding things to do that you enjoy think about what you like doing as a child and I used to love these along with lots of other things so I bought myself a nice one to have a go at.

I read something like that a while ago so I bought the whole L M Motgomery - Anne of Green Gables series.ย  A really good buy & proved the theory.ย  I have to wonder how I managed until kindle took over my world.ย  I liked it as a retirement present & now absolutely love it.ย  I am on my second now as this one I don't need a light on to read.ย  Ideal for reading in bed as it turns itself off (unless it falls on your nose)ย  if you don't move it & you don't have a bedside light on to waken you up.
I used to mainly read horsey books ๐Ÿ˜Šmaybe I should look them up. I like to use my kindle when I'm out and about and I also have Kindle unlimited so use that a lotย

I'm regularly woken with a jolt as I drop my kindle on my nose :Dย  ย I agree though, it's great, and particularly convenient when the book is a huge tome of a thing.

Hope the vets visit goes well, and enjoy the painting by numbers!
Can't say I've ever bashed myself on the nose with my kindle. I do like to read sitting up though. The thing that regularly gets fling across my bedroom is my phone. I switch the alarm off then leave it on the duvet, then I get up and shake the duvet out and there goes my phone ๐Ÿ˜€

Im hoping the vet visit goes ok ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

My painting by numbers arrived and it looks really good. I'm quite excited to start it ๐Ÿ˜€

  • I survived work today but it wasn't a good day. My shift was ok but I was in a lot of pain and it would not go away. I'm still in pain now despite taking lots of pain meds. I am going to have to phone my gp to try and get an appointment. I hate going to the gp though as they normally can't help me and it's a waste of time. I haven't had a bad day like today for a while ๐Ÿ˜ซ

I got the bill for the boiler service today and it was ยฃ108.00 which was less than last year. I've paid that this evening and they said they are sending me a quote for the radiators so fingers crossed it's not really expensive.ย

I keep forgetting to log my pads but so far this week there is ยฃ18 in my savings account so I'm quite happy with that.

Im off tomorrow and Im ย hoping I feel better than I do today. My plan is to make two of the meals I've bought ingredients for but that will depend on how I feel. I've also got some curtains I want to try in my bedroom. I've been looking for curtains for ages but all the ones I like are blackout curtains and I don't want them. I remembered the other day that DD2 bought some grey ย curtains for her bedroom before she moved out but she didn't like them, she's now said I can have them for my room so I will see if they fit tomorrow and ย hopefully save myself some money

I'm off to bed now to hopefully get some respite from this pain ย

I hope you can sleep @Onebrokelady, it sounds awful.

I loved pony books too - the Pullein Thompson sister were my favourites. I still collect them if I can find then! I'll investigate the Kindle books, @peb, thanks.

Enjoy.ย  There are also continuations, for example to the Noel &, Henry series, some are excellent, some are dire but worth a look on unlimited.
