I hope the results tomorrow aren't too bad. Pets are just pets, they become so much more. Wonderful companions. Dd wants another rabbit but after this one, they'll be no more.
I love paint by numbers. DD and I usually do one together, I'll have to pick one up to do this holiday.
Hope the pain eases xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Hope B's results from vet are not too bad.
Love the painting by numbers, that picture would make a lovely jigsaw. Jigsaws are my big thing since covid lockdown. It made me realise how much I loved doing them, so now I always have one on the go.Making the debt go down and savings go up

The vet called and said Bs bloods are all slightly abnormal so he thinks she has kidney disease but it doesn't sound like it's severe yet. I have to change her food to a special renal diet and then have her bloods done again in 6 weeks. I'm not sure this will help with the excess weeing or not. He has also asked me to monitor her fluid intake. He said just see how many times you are refilling the bowl in a day..... I don't think he realises how bad it is as she drank 1litre of water in two hours ( a bowl full) . I've ordered her some special food online ( £26 for 2kgs 😳😫😳) and I've cancelled the subscription I set up. The first one is meant to be delivered on the 20th though so I think that one will still arrive . I will ask around and see if any one in the area wants it. I'm going to have to ask him about painkillers for we arthritis because she won't be able to take too many if she had kidney disease. So not bad bad news but I'm not sure what the prognosis is for dogs with kidney disease. We will see how we go over the next 6 weeks 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942

That all makes sense with the excessive water drinking and weeing. Hopefully the new diet will help.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Thanks every one I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will actually eat the new diet as some dogs won't eat it and that it helps. The vet said to mix some chicken in with it if she refuses to eat it.
Today I was going to go out to see if they had any cheap fleece blankets at the range that I could sew into covers for Bs bed. I was feeling rough though so stayed at home and ordered them from amazon. The washing of the bedding is doable so long as I've got lots of spares and at the moment I dont have enough. I've cut up an old single bed mattress protecter today folded it and sewed a seam down one side then it will just slide onto her bed which is a large rectangle cushion type bed. I've water proofed both beds with some large plastic bags that the cushions for my Ikea armchair were packed in,They were the perfect size. The covers I'm making go over the cushion and I chose fleece because it's soft and dries quickly after washing. The fleece blankets I ordered come in a pack of 6 so Im going to sew two together to give me three covers then I'll have six covers altogether which should be enough. She didn't wet the bed last night so that was good. I will see how the diet works, repeat her bloods in six weeks then decide how to go with it.
I need to check my bank tomorrow and work out how much money is spare for savings and debt payments. I was supposed to do this today but got distracted by sewing followed by reading The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman.
Tomorrow I'm going into town because I need bread and cat milk. I would have done that today but didn't go out so it will have to be tomorrow. I did clean downstairs because I think the cats had a competition last night to see how much cat litter they could spread around the house 😳
I'm off to bed soon because I'm knackered, I can't got to bed early though because I have to let B out for wee as late as possible.
