jwil said:Good luck with the PADs! It's a really good idea to allocate the garage money for something. It's so easy for additional money to get swallowed up by day to day spending, so I try and send it over straight away so I don't miss it. If it's a tight month, I can always keep it, but most times I don't miss it.
I think you should do your bathroom to however you want it unless you plan on moving in the very short term. If you did sell, then there's every chance a new buyer would want to change things anyway.

Sunday done and dusted at work and it was a nice shift 😊 I need to speak to the lady that does our shifts and AL because according to the system we use I only have 4 hours left so when I tried to book time off for the summer it said I had gone over my allowance. I get 102 hours so I've definitely not gone over 😳 I need to try and book some days off for the summer holidays because I will be needed for childcare duties.
I tried to log into my banking app just now but can't log in so my Pad has stalled today 😡
I've got two days off now 🎉🎉DD2 is coming over tomorrow to see the cats and B, I don't think she has seen them since Christmas what with one thing or another.
Im phoning the vet tomorrow to sort B out. I've been putting it off but I need to know why she has become incontinent and if there is any treatment to stop it. I need to get chase her round the garden and get a urine sample and I'm going to request some bloods to check her kidney function. I have a feeling her kidneys are packing up from the way she is behaving. It's so hard because today she has been very perky and even wagged her tail when I came home . We will see what they say then make a decisionOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -
Lovely that B's wagged her tail and is still getting something from life, but it's hard as they get older to know what's best to do. I hope there's something that can be done for her.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thinking of you…it’s so hard as they get older. My old dog always barked at the postman. My bottom line was if he ever stopped barking at the postman. Hope the vet has some positive strategies to try.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Just lost my post 😡😡 so here's a sum up
DD2 visited yesterday which was lovely 😀
Had a drink last night which I don't normally do and ended up having a weird dream about escaped sheep
Went shopping today and bought enough ingredients to make meals for the next 14 days so should only need bread, milk and fruit. It came to £60 which isn't bad for two weeks groceries
Today I was a bit naughty and revived an old tradition which is to buy myself a valentines present. I was looking at colouring books and this led to pain by numbers. I saw a really nice one so I bought it 😀 I read something recently that said if you have trouble finding things to do that you enjoy think about what you like doing as a child and I used to love these along with lots of other things so I bought myself a nice one to have a go at.
I didn't go to see mum and Dad today because my sister has come down for a few days so I'm staying out of the way 😂
Ive got work tomorrow then a day off and I've booked B into the vet so hopefully will get some tests done . B has been incredibly bouncy today which has been lovely to seeOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -
Dreaming about escaped sheep 🤣🤣 Seriously I have bizarre dreams like this on a regular basis 😆
Glad to hear B is perky, hope the vets visit goes well.Hope you mean the book is painting by numbers rather than pain 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -

It's great that B is bouncy - I'm sure a lot of us check how she's doing! Perhaps this is the positive side of the drug she had that also seems to have had a downside? Such a difficult balance to aim for.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I read something like that a while ago so I bought the whole L M Motgomery - Anne of Green Gables series. A really good buy & proved the theory. I have to wonder how I managed until kindle took over my world. I liked it as a retirement present & now absolutely love it. I am on my second now as this one I don't need a light on to read. Ideal for reading in bed as it turns itself off (unless it falls on your nose) if you don't move it & you don't have a bedside light on to waken you up.

Hope the vets visit goes well, and enjoy the painting by numbers!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
