I’ve always been a morning person and like to be up by 5am. However this means I struggle to stay awake beyond 9pm. So I miss all the good TV programmes that seem to start at 9 🤣
    I'm the same :D

  • Woke up at 9 today so got up then . I did go to bed late last night because I was watching Bohemian Rhapsody and it didn’t finish until midnight, I was still not tied so read my book for an hour and a half before I started to feel sleepy. I did sleep for most of the night and only woke up once. The weather last night was very wild and noisy and im glad I didn’t bother to clean the bedroom windows because it chucked it down. Luckily the living room window doesn’t get rained on because it’s under an over hang from upstairs 😀

Im off out in 45 minutes and I must say im not looking forward to it, its so windy and keeps raining but putting a brolly up will be pointless so im going to get soggy if the rain keeps up

I got into the habit of staying in bed when I was off sick and couldn’t do much. It somehow made it a shorter day. I’m often awake at 7 but tend not to much about it until Dh has gone out to work at 8.30. Although if I need to I can be up and out early. My downfall is if I put the tv on I waste the morning so I’m trying to make the radio my first port of call….although I’m quite partial to morning live.
Have a lovely Christmas and take it easy when you go back to work. I can’t get over occupational health not being pro active for you. They should be working in your best interest.

Thanks Milann our occy health dept are rubbish it has to be said 🙄 I’m just doing four hours on Christmas Eve and I’m hoping it will be a nice morning but it’s very busy so we will see. Christmas Eve is usually quite nice at work but can and does sometimes get a bit hectic for some reason. We tend to get people that are here visiting relatives that have had the misfortune to fall ill so that adds to the normal amount of patients, we do try and send as many children home as possible though and I think last year we only had a couple of patients on Christmas Day

That's a good amount paid off, OBL.

I'm glad your daughter's getting better at last and you were able to have your coffee and catch up. It's these little treats that make such a difference (as well as the big ones like the right medication, of course).

I pay a small amount to mine too (£15 and £20).  At some point when I have enough savings I'll do a F&F offer.  I don't feel bad as I have paid so much in interest, fees and charges over the years, the original companies got more than was originally borrowed back.  Also the companies that have them now will have only paid pennies in the £ for them so will still be getting their profits.
