  • My granny used to read People's Friend in the 70s. Didn't realise it was still going.  Don't know the last time I bought a magazine, many years ago, that's for sure.
I didn’t either until I saw it the other day 😀 I meant to ask my mum if she actually liked it but forgot

Great result on the dress!  Hope the appointments go well tomorrow.

I was surprised she gave me a refund, she didn’t even check to see where the sequins had come off 😳
I watched episode 1 of series 1 of Strike which I’ve actually already watched and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to carrry on watching it, I think I’ll wait until after Christmas and have another look. I was quite tired the night I watched it so maybe it was that

  • Maybe they've had a lot like that do she didn't have to? I know when I worked in retail, sometimes we had a line of items with the same faults

Toasted chocolate banana bread with espresso butter sounds amazing!

I've contemplated wrapping gifts straight away but I'm fairly certain I'd then get a bit panicky because I wouldn't be able to judge whether I had things right without being able to look at what I'd bought nearer the time. Perhaps I ought to make myself do that just to prove I can trust my past self to make good judgements! (Or can I?)

You had a very productive time medically, it's great that they will give you the medication you need. And how wonderful that you can be full of energy again!

I write a list as I wrap them so I can remember what I've bought, otherwise I'd forget as well.

It was very yummy but I’m now wondering if the espresso butter was the reason for me bouncing off the walls all day 😂

Hmmm I too would get confused about what I had bought so maybe I’ll stick with my way.
