Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you all have a lovely time 🥰🥰
My shift wasn’t good 😟I lasted two hours before I started to struggle and had to go and have a break for half an hour. I was then in pain for the rest of the shift but luckily there wasn’t a lot for me to actually do on the ward. I can’t see how I’m going to work a whole shift at this point. I’m not going to think about it over Christmas because I can’t do anything about it but I’m going to have to think about my limited options in January. I now have a four hour shift on the 27th but in clinics so that might not be so bad then I have four days off before working 12-4 on New Year’s Day. I’m going to take some painkillers and have a bl##dy good time tomorrow 😀🍾🥳🍾Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1207 -
Going back into work is a big thing, especially when you've been really unwell. It's good you get a break before you are expected back in.
Meanwhile have a lovely time tomorrow!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

We had a lovely Christmas this year. We went to DD1s house and had a yummy Christmas dinner cooked by my son in law. Then after that my daughters, son in law and the grandsons played on the computer together which was really funny. I took that opportunity to read some of my book and just generally chill out.DD2 and I had a nice breakfast before we went and opened our presents at home. I got some lovely things including a milk frother that I’ve wanted for ages and a very large bug hotel for my garden plus books and perfume from DD2. DD1 did me another blind date with a book calender so I’ve got 12 surprise books to read again this year, she did it last year and seeing as I love it so much she asked if I wanted to do it again so I said yes. I will open the first one on New Year’s Day. We were so tired when we got home we both went to bed 😂
Today we had a nice lie in then had breakfast before going for a nice walk where we used to take B. We were going to have another roast dinner today but didn’t feel like it so we had a buffet style meal and I’m going to do the roast tomorrow for tea. We are both working tomorrow but I will finish at 1pm so I can get the roast done ready for when DD gets home at tea time. We might play games tomorrow night too. We were supposed to play games today but neither of us felt like it and we both had books we wanted to read so the day has been spent reading and eating chocolate 😂 I’m now reading The Winter Spirits Ghostly Tales for Winter Nights which is a collection of short ghost stories. The first one was very good so I can’t wait to read the rest.
Tomorrow I’m working 9am to 1pm then I’ve got four days off which will be very nice thank you 😀 very much. DD2 is staying until the 28th so will probably go home around lunch time and I will be back on my own after that. I think both of us will be done socialising by then 😀 DD is going to her best friends for New Year’s Eve and staying over there. I’m not doing anything this year as I don’t really bother with new years and I’ve got to work the next day on a late so I’m working 12 to 4pm which I will hate but at least I do t have to get up early.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205
