They've rung and *cue relief* we have had the redemption taken off ☺️🎉
The correct paperwork hadn't been done for it and it was a good job we rang to question it. We'd have ended up paying it otherwise as there was no notes on our case saying the mortgage was being ported?!
Anyway it's done. I can go back over my budget and revise it now accordingly and we actually have some money to spare I think (I will wait till revised bill comes in before I count those pennies though).
I actually burst into tears with relief. I don't want to move ever again this is so stressful even when I think I've accounted for everything something else crops up 😨
But anyway good news ☺️

Aw thank you all ☺️
I am still feeling flooded with relief and over spilling emotions.
This week is a stressful one without all that panic.
DD exam results day today. So I'm about to get up and dressed and attempt to collect on her behalf.
I messaged YNAB this morning too, I used to have it on my old DFW diary and only stopped using it when the computer it was on broke. I understand there is a 10% lifetime discount to be had ....well they messaged back and I just had to provide the email I would have used and they have put the 10% lifetime discount on for me 🎉🙏😁
Today is already feeling like a good day....fingers crossed it continues for DD. Oh and not forgetting DP and his interview!
My nerves might be frayed by later!

@slm6002 I hope your DS has got what he wanted!
I had no issues getting the results thankfully, as they hadn't responded to DD email stating she'd like me to collect so we thought there might be an issue. The lady dealing with the envelopes was someone I knew anyway so she was super helpful and went off to get the permission slip and I had them within minutes of turning up!
The emotions were running very high from everyone in the school and I had an envelope I couldn't open until I could get hold of DDHowever she rang just as we drove out the school and we pulled over and opened them- and she's passed everything! I will be honest I don't quite understand the number system still, I can't wrap my head around how two numbers can both be a C or a B or an A? But DD was really happy with all her numbers/ grades. She has emailed the new school and we wait with bated breath to see if they will accept the grades now (we cannot find the letter they sent with the grades they required it's probably packed)! The long revision sessions in lunches, after school and on Saturdays were all worth it I think for her- she was especially happy with her science and maths as she (like me) isn't very good at them. So happy tears again today! Woop!
DP is out in his office prepping for his interview. That will have my emotions running high again todayGosh I don't think I can take much more this week. If we were to exchange today as well as everything else going/ gone on this week I think I will just cry for the rest of the week!!
£5 spent today though so ruined my NSD - we ran out of milk and we decided to grab some tins of tonic water to go with some gin later- cheaper than the pub for a drink and I think after our week we deserve a little celebration- the money hasn't come out of my daily spends budget though. I had £5 in my purse so it came from there! So the bank account still sits at £42.52
I am feeling super tired from all these ups and downs this week, I didn't sleep well last night knowing I had to be up early and out to get DD results. I would have felt awful if i had slept in and got there to collect after DD had started her day at camp (9am). It would have meant she wouldn't have gotten the results until this afternoon - I don't think she'd have been able to concentrate on anything until she knew! SO that is my biggest job done for today.
