    thank you both :)
Didn't get round to the grouting. Have bought a smaller bag at less than half the cost though so will return the other one and a whole box of tiles as we had minimal wastage and loads leftover! So should get back around £50.

Got home today to a roof half on and glazing in on the extension! It's starting to actually look like a proper room now. Very exciting.

I will get the insurance for new car in the morning can't do it whilst DD is 16 and 1 day off 17 grr. So far it is being priced up as £400 for the year with £45 cashback hopefully that holds till morning and doesn't go up. Which isn't bad. DD said 10 lessons worked out to be around 400 quid....how can that be. It is crazy?! So this definitely works out cheaper long run and I have a car now when DP takes our other one. Which is exciting :) no longer feel like I have to work around him. I bought cake and cards today too and some chocs for DD. She seems very down in the dumps considering it is her birthday tomorrow so I am hoping a car on the driveway (albeit shared with me) will cheer her up after her first shift of her new job (did I say she starts that tomorrow? Can't remember). Will report back on that one!

Sound bath was ok. People were a little off with me though if i'm honest and don't think I will return. I was the newbie there as I often go to another one in a different village. Some spiritual people are the worst for being judgmental and rude. Even my friend noticed it 😬 so we decided to try someone else next time! Good catch up with her after though which was nice :)

£330 for ten hours here, when they started to learn a few years ago but he held the rate for us.  Provisional insurance wasn't bad for us in their tiny car, and it wasn't a massive jump when they eventually passed either.

It is all sounding very exciting on the works front.

Thanks Beanie. I agree! I love them usually but it's a very posh area and very cliquey nevermind ☺️.

Today I've got drs at 8 so up bright and early. Also DD birthday 🥳. She's a bit more chipper this morning 🥳😁. I bought car insurance so we could collect her / our new car whilst she's at work today and would you believe I bought it for the wrong car. I'd been comparing two cars on insurance and didn't check the reg and bought the wrong one 🫣 thankfully it could be changed when DP spotted my mistake and no charge for me 🫣🤣. Oops.
I didn't get the learner insurance just yet because I wanted her to agree to lessons in it firstly but also it wanted her email/ phone and I didn't want her being alerted to the fact she has car insurance on a car she's never seen
....I think she might guess 😆.
So we will do that later. We opted to get her her own insurance as it means our no claims is protected then and our premium won't go up if she has an accident whilst learning. (Obviously fingers crossed she won't).

Right I'm off to doc to speak to her about HRT and headaches. And I'll be back later hopefully with a very happy 17 year old DD 😁🎂🥳

Happy birthday to DD.   I love the car and I've not seen it - I'm sure she will.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Thank you @Watty1 it's a really cute colour and car in fact probably a bit girly for DP to want to ever drive it tbh 😆.

Drs was good I had first appointment so was in really quick. That makes a change.
Doc was asking if I would like to go to meno clinic as she's concerned about headaches. Esp with stroke risk in 30-50year old women in my direct family. I told her I had weaned myself down off them the minute the headaches were getting bad and weaned back up slowly to 3-4 times a week taking them. She seemed happy with this and said it was sensible to do this. So I'm going to continue with them for a while. She suggested getting a blood pressure monitor and also gave me symptoms to look out for other than the headaches. So I will continue with 3 times a week on them and see if it keeps the headaches and the hot flushes at bay.

Happy birthday to DD! The car sounds like a fab buy.

The tiling looks great too, well done. It's great when you have a go at DIY jobs and realise just how much you can do yourself, isn't it. I love tiling! xx
