I've gone to post about five times and gotten distracted each time 🙈.
Thanks LWAP, Dawny, I hope they can help next week. I'm still having pains in my chest too as well as the horrible hot flashes. I just want to feel normal again.

I didn't sleep great last night, too hot after I had had a G&T 😥 can't seem to drink alcohol any more either not even one.... Was up at 6 and out the house just before 9 to pop to town. I got myself some new tights and trousers for work. I used my pocket money. Used a gift card from my birthday to buy a revision guide for DD (after horrible teacher comments) so only spent in m&s really. Trousers are getting a little tight so once I've sorted out these heart issues, hot flushes and dizzy spells I'm going to start fasting again. I bought my usual size, 12, even though they were a tad tight because I refused to buy ones that were slightly too big (but comfier) in case I was tempted grow into them 😆😅. I was home within an hour. Nice easy trip before it got too busy.

I'm going to get a cheap take away I think this eve, just some kebabs (vegan for 3 of us) as I'm very tired and dp is upstairs napping as well...I think he may have caught my bug. I managed to talk DP out of fixing the summer house up he'd have spent all weekend on it and money probably and it is literally falling apart. I think we should take it down it's had its day and buy a made for purpose shed for tools/ workshop etc. I'm pretty sure the summer house is as old as the kitchen (40 odd years) and is not just weathered but falling down. Glad he listened as he's super tired and I think he needed a days rest too.

We popped to our local antique centre instead, we love a wander round there window shopping. Nothing spent (not even in the cafe) and we went for a couple of hours and got our steps in and left. It was very busy with coaches of visitors so we didn't do it all. Saw some lovely bits we'd like for our new spaces (our current dining table is a freebie from outside someone's house 😅) saw some lovely erc0l room dividers but jeez £1250 each!! And I wanted two 😅. Saw a lovely chair too and researched whether it was worth it when we got home..it was so comfy. We found out it's nickname was 'worlds comfiest chair' 😉 haha it certainly lived up to the name it was comfy. But overpriced. Anyway a nice way to spend the afternoon and now I think early dinner and early night. We're all a bit drained and tired here this month.

Washing is almost done for the weekend, bins emptied and quick tidy around etc but that's about it for house work this weekend 🙈. Next Wednesday (day off) I have Dr appointment in afternoon and also going to tutor a friend in meditation for the morning - she's offered to pay but not too bothered if she does or not will be nice to catch up.

Quite a bit spent today but I don't mind, I had the money and as I paid earlier I had an ah-ha moment! I could comfortably pay for the clothes and still have money left. I am only days away from payday and I have £300 left in the food budget, money for all bills around £500 (I'd have been nicking from this account before now half way through the month just a year or so ago), I've also got small EF still in tact even after raiding it a few times (most went on vets for FLD 😢) and I have money each week coming in as extra (child benefit) ....I realised I wasn't poor any more and in survival mode. It felt good 😊.

Really glad you've taken it easy today and dp. Enjoy your kebabs, it's making me want one.!! We're having mackerel salad, which should be easy.
Sounds like your winning on the money budgets! That's a nice feeling!

You are doing so well with your budgeting, one less stress and for what it’s worth - getting the extension done asap means more time to enjoy it with a busy house when you need it most.

Kebabs were good. Ours is basically just grilled veg with a tonne of salad so healthy take away too... although we have to specify not to deep fry the veg 🤔 others they just stick it in the chip fryer 🤔 lol. DS has a chicken one so healthier than the Donner. And DD had a veg pizza in the end.

We were up with the birds this morning again so we went to the boot fair for the first time this year. It was bitterly cold 🥶 it's a huge open field with no trees around it to break the wind ...we did it in record time though as we didn't look at any stalls with toys (lots of) or stalls with burgers (don't eat them and lots of those too) and we didn't have little dog pulling us to say hi to everyone 😢 which was a little sad as he loved the boot fair and saying hello to all the other dogs and people. But it meant we got round quickly so that was good I guess 😊. We spent some of our pocket money. Got some fab LPs for a quid! Can't believe the old guy was selling them so cheap. Happy with those. Also spent perhaps £20 on food...lots of short date boxed stuff and fresh veg including some huge jackets so we will have two lots of jacket dinners this week I think.
DP got some lovely iron labels for veg too for his dad for his birthday, £20 but they were really nice. And that is his birthday sorted for next month. Picked up a few other little bits mostly things we needed rather than pretty things we wanted.

DP has popped to the supermarket to get shopping for the week. I have a 10% off shop voucher so he will use that hopefully! I'm going to bill cook some spaghetti bol/ cottage pie mix when he's back.
So dinners this week will be, biryani (we got some plant based box mix we tried before from boot fair- 50p each! ) jacket potatoes, cottage pie, plant balls, spaghetti bol, tofu. Trying to incorporate DD need for soft food in the meal plan as I don't want to have to cook two different meals each night. I think all of that is ok....

Right off to tidy and wash up and perhaps look at dying my hair. I've had a box dye sat upstairs a week or so now staring at me...I have the energy to do it this afternoon so will go do that. Then DP and I will chill and watch a movie with some snacks (free date afternoon 😁).

I got my steps in at the boot fair so can feel free to be super lazy now for the rest of the day 😆

I can't believe it will be done by summer! DP and I were discussing doing the groundwork ourselves and other bits and bobs ourselves but it would have taken us month and months and months on end to do and finish. It's totally worth it I think. With wages and materials going up there is no way we will get It any cheaper as we're not after a conservatory (which you can get second hand and cheap on FB - I did think about that for a while as it was so cheap! 😆). So I'm looking forward to it all coming together now.

DS 1 is moving next week I think so he will be in his final place for his plans to hand notice in start of next year. He just has to coast it until then. If they want to be awkward they can hold on to him for the whole year but they can let him go early if they want to (I've seen both scenarios with friends Hubbies leaving so who knows what they'll do). But I want extension and decorating etc done way before I need to go oh no he's due soon and we've done nothing 😆 which is what I would usually do!

Finally got around to doing some bulk cooking, two cottage pies made (one eaten for dinner so one left) one spag bol.
Food shop this week was less than £100 (had 10% off too) because we are trying to use up bits we already have in. We might need a top up though as no GF stuff was bought and that will be used up before long.

Right off to read my book and have an early night. We watched two movies over the day in between cooking and I didn't stop yawning through the last one!

    Afternoon all,
work is done for another day. I have written up all the admin from today already. I have had real issues retaining any information since being sick/ exhausted...so made lots of notes and written up and documented straight away. I am missing two weeks of notes, but I think I will leave them to be honest I don't even think they are read unless needed. And considering I've had no training and am making it up as I go along I will take the hit on it if found out (basically I went back to write them and my brain was so foggy I couldn't remember anything to write :disappointed: if it comes back to me I will go back and do it). All the important stuff I did there and then anyway as it needed to be sent to other tutors or safeguarding so......moving on......
Going forward I am going to write a tonne of notes as the day goes on and try to do them that evening.

I've ordered a book which should be here tomorrow, used some birthday money for it so technically no spends out of my money.
Got lots of pending surveys ready to cash out. I have things on my qu1dco tracking that should have paid out by now, wondering if I should message them to see what is going on.
The hedges I bought- some have taken now and we can see new growth -yay! Others look not so great and are turning very brown. I have taken pictures but will hold off on emailing them just yet because they did say to wait until Spring.

My day off on Wednesday but I have a few things in the diary planned (including docs). Tomorrow will be a stressy morning but hopefully an okay afternoon. And again, like today, it is a shorter day so will hopefully go quickly. I have taken to finding a quiet corner for lunch now and reading my book. Tomorrow though my friend is in and we usually sit in her car as she doesn't like the canteen nor the room we all usually share for lunch  I am having real issues with sitting there for an hour with dog hair all over it though and don't know how to politely suggest something else. I am highly allergic and come away itching, scratching, throat hurting and eyes itching and me sneezing - and the dogs don't even go in the front. I don't know how to approach this without coming across as - your car is dirty clean it :hushed: I do owe her a lunch perhaps I should suggest we go to a local cafe and I will pay. Thurs & Fri I am usually on my own again so hide away in the corner somewhere with my book

DS2 has taken up running long distance. He did 12 miles at the weekend with a friend - then they went out into the carport where DS has a home gym set up and were working out there. He seems to lack an understanding of when he and others have had enough. I asked them both if they would like food that day and DS said yes but friend doesn't know me well and said no thank you. I cooked him some anyway as he was literally looking ready to pass out. He wolfed it down and drank two glasses of water thankfully then I suggested they go play computer games - I never suggest this over exercise or fresh air but both looked done in! I wish my son understood limits.
DD brace is settling a little better, her lisp has nearly gone and she isn't complaining about pain any more.
I haven't heard from DS1 in a while. Radio silence is never good with him he is probably utterly stressing about his move and he's already highly strung. He is my clever child who went under the radar for being on the spectrum because- how could there possibly be anything wrong as he's clever. Sigh. He doesn't understand how to deal with stress and gets himself into a flap so easily, his resilience is very low too as his understanding of himself and his emotions. Another reason why I think he's probably best off leaving the army. I will message him again though. I never ring him as he seems to get annoyed and highly strung at a random unplanned phone call too. Being a mum is exhausting, even when they're grown up

Spag bol for dinner, made with mushrooms, lentils and veg. Nice and easy to cook as did it yesterday, if we have any leftovers I will save it back for JP toppings tomorrow. All soft food for DD though so no cooking two meals!

Evening, I think the issue you want to focus on isn't 'dirt' or 'dirty' as you aren't allergic to dirt, if you focus on saying you enjoy the lunches together and want to find a way to continue but it can't be in the car anymore as your allergy is flaring up each time due to the fur and dander.  Theres no way your friend could clean the car to the level you need as hair gets caught in the fabric and dander will be in the nooks and crannies and at the end of the day its her car, its the dog's car so perfectly acceptable for her car to be as she wants it but you aren't comfortable sitting there any more.

If you're clear you aren't asking her to deep clean the car every week, or even thinking it, then you should be able to navigate it without anyone feeling awkward  🤞

That's exactly it. I don't want to tell her that and be rude. I wouldn't take it kindly if someone said similar to me 🙈 but it is causing allergy flare ups every time. I've mentioned my allergy but maybe just need to be a bit more explicit. There are plenty of other places to go. It's her car and I wouldn't expect her to clean it or do anything for me especially. It's awkward...I'll try to see if she wants to go somewhere else 😊
