Oooh these look great. I've got a yellow mini dress which I love, but I feel it's just a little bit short when it's windy. There's a yellow pair of Chubs that look just the right colour.

just this. I really enjoyed the weekend. It has made me very thoughtful about doing less work. I wanted to garden but am still trying to rest the arm that got the nerve damage so that was out. The lady that mucks out in the week has left me a micro current gadget to try and see if that helps. It is an equine one but she is sure it can be used on humans so recharged it last night and I will read the booklet today and try it out. She said a pal of hers had used it when they woke up in the night with nerve pain and found it helped them get back to sleep so worth a try.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

No time to try out gadget between work and phone calls. Had lovely catch up with two pals on a video call, one in Spain, one in the North East and me down in the South East. Nattered happily for over an hour until one of us had internet issues. Lovely way to spend the evening.
Sister rang in the afternoon so happy chat with her too.
Will read the instruction book this morning. Made a couple of mistakes at work, which will be costly but hey ho. I will still earn something and although VNM said he felt really bad I did point out he has been taking up the slack whilst I am not functioning at 100% and ultimately the company is my responsibility.
AI made me laugh, I set about doing a job involving it and yes it is super quick but I then asked for its confidence in what it had done (65%) so we set about improving that. Lots of prompts, me gathering details from a supplier to populate the spreadsheet and so on. At the end it declared its confidence at 95 to 99% but told me to employ a consultant to sign the work off on the grounds of liability which it wanted to hand off to a real person and then went on to point out that I should be grateful for its input as the consultant would only need 1 to 2 hours and with what I had started out with the consultant would have taken 2 to 3 days.
For some reason I found that hilarious. Even AI seems to have gained "attitude".

AI can be super-useful but I do find myself instinctively being polite and trying not to hurt its feelings. 😁 I suspect the advice it gives you is a built-in caution in case someone sues, but is it just a matter of time till the socialisation of AI means that it will learn to take offence and refuse to work with someone because it doesn't like their attitude?!
I am sure you have a good working relationship with yours and as long as you remember to give it a box of chocolates for special projects triumphantly completed, that will contine ad infinitum!

AI has always had attitude! I remember when we first started using it, one of my colleagues asking Copilot to condense some writing further, and it told her that it had done a good job and if it made any changes the result wouldn't be as good!

That's like the old Microsoft "anecdote" where the man takes a gun, places his finger over the tip, fires it and says "see, it was alright when it left here!"

Haha - I look at my pet AI along the lines of training a dragon. He gets a smack on the nose if he steps out of line! MrGPT often gets told he's a bit out of touch with the modern world & I keep him on a tight leash. Having a paid for account helps, as it learns my preferences and keeps them! G00gleAI on the other had is like a call centre agent, trying to close the case at all costs with an optimized answer! - and iit has a bad habit of inventing the truth.

These AI comments are hilarious. I had to get a paid for account because I have been working on a project and kept needing uploads - I didn't actually realise the paid for learns preferences. So agree that the goo-gle version just wants a person to go away … like a call centre agent made me burst out laughing.
You all really are a bright spot in my day today
