Maybe consider North Shropshire/North Wales. We moved up here from Kent 9 years ago and love it. House prices are very good compared to the south.

Still expensive though.
Love all the property dreams.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I don't think you can officially, but would anybody really notice the odd occasion when you did it. Particularly as the entrance looks out over the marshes at the back.
It was up for sale last year for a while and then disappeared off the net, I thought someone had bought it but apparently not.

We walked along the front in Southwold last November, I thought the huts would be expensive, but that's just ridiculous.

I have to say that's the most expensive I've seen. There's been a couple for sale recently at £175K and £150K. They are less horrendous (one can hardly say cheaper) north of the pier.

Rode Most Handsome who was his usual self but he did make me giggle. The coach I had out has really helped. When he starts being an idiot I have lots of "tricks" to take his mind off being an idiot and then he makes me giggle. I am really enjoying him now, I forgot how well trained he was from my younger more confident days. Lots more physical effort than riding CC. Made me think I was really unfit but we had a lot of fun - until - I got off and struggling to breath realised I had chest pain. Texted VNM to bring me some water and sat on the ground for a bit and recovered but VNM wanted me to go to hospital. I kept saying it just highlighted how unfit I was but VNM spooked me with talk of hospital.
Given family history (major heart disease and very young deaths from stroke) I have invested £875 in myself, spoke to a private cardiology nurse, all tests were done yesterday afternoon and cardiologist this evening. Service outstanding and hopefully this will stop VNM worrying, and then I can tackle my fitness plan.
Interestingly I feel guilty spending the money as I'm sure that there is nothing wrong but given my family history the general health heart check up seemed a really good idea. Pleased that having been financially responsible for the last few years means I have the money to pay for the private tests really quickly.
