Oh - how lovely of you all. Thank you 😍 Yesterday was indeed my birthday. I had a lovely day, the three of us (WattyDog VNM and I) went out for breakfast whilst cleaner did the house. We went to the community cafe which is inexpensive and a joy and then out for dinner, again all 3 of us. And I did nothing much all day - other than admit I am exhausted and cold and then did a bit of thinking about the year ahead and reviewing financial plans and making a list of things to focus on. The list includes health, the business, relationships and … the usual debates about moving out of the South East.
Rang friends, had lovely chats, oldest friend is getting married on Wednesday so we had a lovely chat about his wedding plans and how budget his wedding is - which was sounding very "on budget" with the reception at home until we got to the employed waiting staff and designer cake! Hilarious and another world from here!
Just a joyous day, with a chunk of it spent with WattyDog watching TV in the middle of the afternoon.
This afternoon is a celebration at the local community cafe with girlfriends for an afternoon tea.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!12 -
Sounding a perfect birthday weekend
