DH went to the dentist the other day and the next day a crown came loose - it's now fallen out! He thinks it was the dentist's cleaning that dislodged it, as it had been fine till this week. Could something similar have happened to you?

possible I think yes.
Ah well. At least we have dentists and get fixes done. Need to look at things positively.
Very breezy day here. £1 saved as no need for tumble dryer and I've taken the opportunity to wrangle 4 lots of washing which is all out (I have 3 washing lines)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I want three washing lines… I have one useful one, and do actually have two extendable ones, but they're in permanent shade, and will be in the way when I finally get the garage converted. And the useful one is on the wrong side of the garden so gets very little sun. I've got to work out where I need to put it, and get posts put in before I do any more planting in the garden (I'm also thinking about whether they washing line posts could double up as hammock posts…).

I one have one 🤣

That's a very positive take on having dentists, and so true.
Blowing a gale here, too.

We have one (rotary, branded) washing line but somewhere there are three spike-posts in the ground. We have lived here 21 years now and sometimes the spike post disappears in winter, when the line has been put away. We think it sort of floats away. I have one spare one, because I had to buy a replacement washing line a few years ago (after Mr Sl tied the replacement line too tight and bent the aluminium frame and then something heavy broke it properly).
@greenbee, they are always not quite in the right place; trees too close, in the shade or (in my case) on the route for honey bee cleansing flights. And the trees grow, so even perfectly positioned ones end up wrong.

My 3 are all retractable and none are really in the right place - the one near the back door is on the patio and is usually in shade and the other two are on the yard where it is both sunny all day and the wind seems to blow. There the wind rustles up hay, paper bedding, shavings and horse fluff and it all seems to stick to the washing despite the wind's best efforts 😀

Made a long list of everything last night, a sort of brain dump on to paper. As the month ends I'm certainly in a better place than at the start health wise, I think the remainder will be ongoing niggles to work with so focus will need to continue on that.
Today I have plans to ride both CC and MH and I need to sort through the fridge. The meal boxes were great when I felt to overwhelmed and depressed to actually figure out how and what to cook but I need to cut back on those now and sort through the freezer so started cooking last week from the meal plan. Tonight we have left overs of curry and there should be enough to freeze (curry from the farmers market) and stuffed peppers for lunch (from earlier in the week). I want to make some soup for next week lunches and make something "sweet treat" sort of. I've mostly given up sugar, only having some wine last night and a slice of cake from farmers market in the last two weeks.
I want to stick with mostly sugar free, so, for me, that will mean making something for those "snack" moments. not sure what it will be though, need to have a sort through the over full cupboards.

Well the sugar free ideal failed as I decided on biscuits with honey in. Still healthier than shop bought stuff and cheaper as made using stuff in cupboard. Soup was delicious and eaten at lunch because it smelt so good (White bean and mushroom using up the creme fraiche from a pasta sauce earlier in the week added the thyme from the veg box then stripped rest from stalk and froze in ice cube trays for later rather than waste it and I couldn't think what to do with it at that moment)
