Some lovely options for cheap music, thank you. I like that we can just ask Alexa for a particular something but we can explore these options. Also going to dig out the CDs and get a cheap CD player (will ask in charity shop too as they take in test and sell electricals).
Birth certificate finally arrived so now sent that off so hopefully passport will get sorted. Don't actually need a passport for travel anytime soon but frustratingly identity checks are easier with one, and, maybe will travel again someday!
VNM allocated yesterday to fixing the outdoor tap. After much faffing it turned out that the stop !!!!!! under the patio was switched off. Which was odd because that one seems only to control the outdoor tap. The one that controls the house is by the water meter and does nothing. Unless it is broken in some way ??? Or maybe that isn't the house one. Which made us think that the house doesn't have one. I know where the one for the yard is because we often have water leaks and I was certain the one at the meter did the house but yesterday it did not.
Decided to think about this at a later date - which 12 hours later has arrived - because the dishwasher seems to have some faults, as in multiple faults. Now need to call a service engineer. Two steps forward, two steps back!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
It all seems very complicated! I hope the dishwasher is soon sorted out, and in getting that sorted out, you find how to isolate the house water supply. It does sound as though perhaps a replacement stop (male chicken) may be needed.

oh I had never thought that a replaced stop whatsit might be needed. That is kinda obvious. Will need a plumber for this clearly.
