What a productive day! It's great to hear MH is going so well: you've moved everything on so far for both him and CC in the past year.
What a cheek those mice have! At least the bike is fixable.

Someone I was talking to last week says he stores his motorhome on a farm across the winter, and previously mice have eaten through the wiring loom. He was off to collect it after I spoke with him, hope he had better luck this winter.

@Slinky it is apparently a common thing!
My car went for its MOT today, sadly failed and it seems to need a "big fix" according to VNM who took it. I'd already purchased new tyres. However it went early in case anything needed doing and VNM has promised he will look at it and see what he can do - but - I am cautioned against going anywhere too far in it. Well that is ok, it is not as if I do anyway.
Then off to the dentist driven by VNM. After much thinking and a chat with this dentist I have decided not to do the implants at this time and he is fitting a crown initially. Even that was a lot more work than I expected. I go back tomorrow for the crown to be fitted, today was just prep work and I think it took way more prep than he thought as the appointment ran over by a lot. (The crown is computer generated on site and will be ready tomorrow - usually they do the prep in the morning and fit in the afternoon but we couldn't make that work diary wise).
Now off to curl up on sofa with WattyDog as mouth sore, but, the crown will be done by tomorrow so that ticks that one off my month of focus on health and wellbeing.

The VNM is a champion.
I had a crown fitted about ten years ago and it's still going strong. Given how much less time it took than a family member having an implant, I think you've made a good decision that will reduce stress on yourself.

Yes @Cherryfudge for me that was a big part of the decision. I have huge anxiety issues around a lot of things at the moment and the work seemed just too much. I've left this for far too long because I could not face the work. I understood why my original dentist did not want to do the crown but I ended up with this dentist because of the anxiety around getting to my own dentist (where I am due to go for a periodontal clean next week) and I think this has, for me, been a good call.
If I had not set out this month to focus on my wellbeing I think I would not have got to this point either, And as @beanielou says by this evening this will be done.

If you have enough tooth to support a crown, then it's a good idea, even if it just puts off the implant. Anything you can save of your own teeth is a bonus.

Crown done. Dentist was nice but I prefer my usual practice. Have to go for a periodontal clean at usual practice with own dentist next week. Had really wanted it this month to fit in with the focus but dentist did not have a space (he only works at the clinic one day a week)
