Congratulations on a job well done! And when you use your new makeup, it can be a reminder of your strength.

The pub sounds very atmospheric, there will be other times for the cuppa (or G&T/champagne) but you got there and investigated so you can bear that in mind for when you have more time.

Free lunch = very MSE, plus networking and social interaction. You probably ticked all the boxes yesterday! Is today a horses day?

Well done Watty - and in fact you did several things!

Your story about your Mom & your make-up purchases made me think of my Gran in two ways. - She would have agreed 100% to having a G&T in an atmospheric hotel AND even more importantly she never left the house without doing her make-up - and that included pruning her roses in the front yard. Something to be said about those old fashioned values! …and faking it actually leads to making it so pat yourself on the back!
