Love the colours! I did my house white. Everything white with natural curtains. I think I was too exhausted for colour and I love the white but a little colour outside seems fun.
Daisy I love that picture, especially the cat having a little drink. It did make me smileMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

£130 sent to ISA. It seems when I paid the estate agent to handle the transfer of this property to me they over estimated the land registry fees (I was splitting the land away from the house so there were two fees to pay) and I was due a refund of £130 which arrived yesterday. I sent it straight to the ISA. That money was spent ages ago so no point in reallocating it, just straight to savings. The 'free' money in the ISA is building up nicely, apparently I am due 38p interest so far. I love this, reminds me of when paying off the mortgage when every penny counted!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Charming Cob has just had his monthly chiropractic treatment and I took the opportunity to quiz the lady about WayyDog. She was so helpful. Really helpful. She treats a lot of dogs and has treated dogs who have had spinal surgery, and her insights confirmed my decision not to go ahead. She also talked through what the meds are doing and what to expect which was helpful. I feel so blessed to have such nice people in my life.
Charming Cob had a clean bill of health. What a change from six months ago!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Being nice really does "pay". Vet was due to visit for FellPony (nothing wrong I just wanted a few blood tests to be certain) and at the appointed time I got a phone call from the practice saying vet would be 2 hours late. Then a call from vet saying he was so sorry practice should have rung and said but he had had to stop at an emergency and was no where near. I said it didn't matter and to call in when he could.
Anyway vet finally arrived full of apologies and I repeated it didn't matter, that vets are imho the one people who are allowed to be late, that maybe one day I might be the one who has the emergency visit fitted in and I would be grateful that all the other calls had been shifted.
The bill was emailed last night. I've paid it this morning. There was an examination fee and the lab fees for the blood test - but - the visit fee was nominal (should have been £70) - and the line that says what each charge is reads - reduced call out fee as very late and client polite, understanding and charming. That is a £70 saved all because I was just, well, me.
(For those wondering FellPony was being investigated as he is so unflappable, so unbothered by life and incredibly lazy I just wanted to check there was no reason before we try to get him fitter. The upshot of the visit was regular vet asked specialist at the vet hospital to check over notes to be sure nothing was being missed said we should not under estimate the effect of the extra weight - diet boot camp awaits)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Vet emergencies aside, what a nice story! Sympathies to Fell Pony for having to have diet boot camp - but salutary for those of us with a few extra pounds.
How often must GPs look at extra weight in humans and think 'if only', but hopefully nowadays they are more clued up that it's so often a complex issue.
Anyway, there's another £70 for your ISA or to keep in the 'vet pot' or wherever you choose to put it!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Cool vet and cool Watty.
Fell pony sounds like he is channelling ponyplops who has found fifth gear precisely twice in her life and then only because she saw a tractor.
You'd have laughed at me last weekend. Cantered and jumped (tiny log in woods).
Unorthodox method of coming back from canter - shouting "brakes" to Big'orse.
Happily she is very kind and knew what I meant.
