Just wondering if with WattyDog you are in the realms of quantity of life versus quality of life. Difficult choices I know.3

So, for now he will have good days and bad. Today is not such a good day because he was daft enough to try and chase the cat then ran into a table.
However, he enjoyed his patrol of the neighbourhood for pees and poop time, has checked out whether he can get one of the cats that live opposite (no) has guarded and had a treat kong. He is bright and happy. Yes, he is unsteady on his hind limbs and I know this is now end of life time. I'm hoping we can get the inflammation down enough to go to cafe's for breakfast, a few local events and the pub. I think he will be happy with that and I have already explained to him that there are options so when he has had enough if he lets me know I can help. He doesn't have to suffer.
We are not yet at the quality of life discussion point but I know it is coming over the hill. Every day he is happy is a bonus now, and today is a bad day walking wise but a good day mood wise if that makes sense.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

We all have good days and bad days, sounds like WattyDog is still living his best life in context of adjusting to the situation, and is able to enjoy being WattyDog. You'll know when he's not.
And it's brave and loving of you to decide not to prolong his life if that's going to cause unnecessary suffering x

In other news my email stopped working. Totally. So I did the reset and discovered I could not get in at all, so I rang email provider to discover to my surprise email was not actually my own account but linked to another. Regular readers will guess the linked account was PPH.
After a long time on the phone, where I actually suggested the help desk cough if I guessed the right answer so I could break into the main account holders account it seemed there was nothing i could do.
This is more galling as I pay £7.50 a month for some enhanced premium service on emails that I have never really understood.
After being told there was nothing I could do, and having many goes at hacking PPH account I gave up and decided I would just loose my email and cancelled the DD. It seems I have been paying the PPH email account. Feeling irked I actually, against my better judgement, messaged PPH and asked him to resolve the situation. To my surprise after a few messages so he understood the problem, an hour later he messaged me with a password that will allow me to access my emails.
Now, there are multiple problems with this. He can access my emails (I always had a hunch he could so use my work one mainly); I've been paying for something I didn't understand and that was his and that explains why I could not get a sensible word out of provider because the account was not in my name; I cannot reset the password; apparently the fix is only for four weeks to allow me to sort a proper fix out.
If I look kindly on the situation, at least he helped me fix the problem.
As for the rest, I'll just park it here and remind myself I have a fix!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Best copy the email addressess you want to keep and any documents directly on your your desk ie not forwarding them to another email address then cancel everything that might use that email? She says like she understands technology 🙄 😆
I have the idea that if you forward stuff that shows him the email you are using. Direct copy and paste into word then save would appear to circumvent??

You could always forward them to a throwaway email address if you want to keep any info in the emails. Don't forget in your haste to delete your deletions & your sent.5

I've left the email open and I'm just going through stuff when I have a moment and noticing where I have used that email and gradually I will change things over. The simple stuff like netf!x and amaz0n changed quickly then I need to look at where the email is changed and slowly over the next few days move it.
I get rid of all traces of him in the house and he lurks on email. Am fed up so took WattyDog for a little potter. No more than a few mins but house arrest is tough for him and I'm not convinced it is really helping enough, although, this may actually be because WattyDogs version is probably far removed from vets idea of what is happening.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
