Good thinking 😊 I make overnight oats every night for breakfast in work, in a food flask. It works really well. I add chia seeds, ground flax seed and make it with almond milk and natural yogurt. If the texture is a bit dry in the morning you can always add a bit more milk. I top with cacao nibs, goji berries, a small sprinkle of desiccated coconut and roasted, chopped / flaked nuts 😊

My mix is a tablespoon of jumbo oats, a tablespoon of (my own) pre-mixed nuts and seeds, a big spoonful of Greek-style yogurt and a big spoonful of still-frozen (wonky) berries. I don't pre-make, it's a morning mix and late morning fend off hunger snack. The oats have to be quite intact and the mix quite dry or I can't swallow it. I have never managed breakfast. I can't eat dairy at the moment. I swapped to oat milk when I read that almond growing isn't environmentally friendly.Make £2025 in 2025

thank you for the tips. The overnight oats were very filling and delicious. i do better with a bit of protein so I added some desiccated coconut and peanut better. Forgot to eat them at breakfast and had the homemade bread and marmite as a mid morning snack after riding but the oats followed the chick pea dal and green beans leftovers at lunch nicely.
Will do that again as there are so many oats to use up!
Day spent working but have had a very odd email from Evri as it seems the item that never turned up and was refunded has now been despatched. So I've the £30 back but they still sent it. Odd but I'm going to gratefully accept.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I served some of the sardines in tomato sauce yesterday for dinner and noticed the VNM hardly ate any and he did mention that he hates sardines. That is a lot of sardines in the cupboard for me to use up then when I am eating on my own.
Most Handsome is doing really well. He is still confined to stable but I'm letting him have time out on the stable yard and I've cut out the Paracetamol and will reduce the final painkiller this week, starting tomorrow. WattyDog also off his painkillers and fine although having followed Daisy's observation suggestions I am now sure he needs a joint supplement so will add that in.
I have paid out over £1000 in vet bills this month but have not had to raid the Welfare Fund so I am happy that the stringent saving is working well enough. Just a week to the end of the month and I think I have everything covered that needs to be.
Adding a slice of home made bread (loving that) with marmite has really sorted out my cravings for chocolate and so on. I did, as some of you will recall, think about going dairy and gluten free, but I've given that idea up as actually I think I was just exhausted emotionally and led astray by a couple of books and podcasts. Going to bed as soon I have given horses hay at 7.30 and watching light hearted tv for no more than an hour has really helped with the general exhaustion. I manage maybe one late night a week with the VNM or girlfriends and that is it and the extra sleep seems to be helping recovery from the past few years.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

So glad that I've been able to give a few pointers that have been helpful
Sounds like you are doing well on so many fronts

Ps regarding supplements some folk will swear by one thing, others will swear the same thing is rubbish. The way I see it, if it supplies what your body is lacking, then you will see a difference. I had a client who started her dog on green lipped mussel, huge difference in 3 days which allowed me to get deeper and help the upward cycle of better mobility. I tried it with my dog, nothing. We then tried youmove and saw a big difference. Youmove has glm but also other things. The combination or perhaps it was just one thing that helped our boy.22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈⭐ Never save something for a special occasion. Every day is a special occasion. i suppose it is like supplements for people. Some folk swear by xx and others find it does nothing. WattyDog will report back as his first supplement has been purchased!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Just to let you know that should you ever need to go gluten free, then marmite is on the no-no list!
