    This has really dragged on hasn't it? I hope things turn round very soon for you but in the meantime I think the meal box is justified. Shame it won't arrive for a few days, but you can look forward to it.

    Meal suggestions in the meantime: beans and cheese on toast; chicken, tin of ratatouille and baked potato; fish and chips with peas. Those might not take a lot of brain power or preparation.

    You definitely haven't let the side down Watty, you are working so hard even when you are ill. Hope you feel much better soon. Pasta and sauce, beans on toast etc cheap and easy. Take care!

  • Jacket potato is my go to when I'm fed up of cooking, sick or last minute thing. Nice and easy and no fuss and can use whatever toppings you have available.
