Thanks for the welcome. I've managed to finish off a packet of beads and sew a few felt animals I'd had cut out for ages. I'll try to sort out a photo of some of the stuff.GC Feb 25 - £225.54/£250 Mar £218.63/£24012

I have had so much fun today. Back in November I bought a craft buddy cutting machine and 2 die cut packs. Apart from cutting out one ginger bread man as soon as it arrived I have not touched it until I took it to craft group last Monday. I have used the parcel die that came with gingerbread man die along with my happy birthday one to make these cards. A lovely lady at craft group gave me a sewing machine and accessories die which I have had a go with too. Last but not least over the last 2 days I have sketched and diamond painted 4 cards from my stash of left over bits and bobs. The sea horse is traced from the one that I was given on the left. Also forgot to say, my niece was doing a clear out and gave me lots of lovely backing papers. I am trying not to buy anything but my stash keeps growing. 😅

Soontobeoap - thanks for the info. Love all the cards - especially the sewing ones.
Yesterday I had the jacket returned to me to stitch a line of top stitching around the sleeves. My friend gave me a diamond painting bag as a thank you gift.
Today I have done a glass and 3 mugs containing 100g of chocolates for Father's day gifts - fund raising for SA.

I had such good intentions of trying to keep up with everyone’s progress as it went along, but ……
@Florenceem, I’ve misled you! It wasn’t the new Fairy Wishes members’ gift that I got, it was a Moonlight Fairies little book. I see you continue to be a talented card making machine! What a lovely idea to have a theatre in the dolls’ house! The curtains are a perfect colour. I like your idea for tie backs! I hate shortening trousers; sometimes sewing is NOT fun! Fortunately, it’s only been once this year (so far). You are so kind; I have never known you to refuse a job, even when you know it’s not going to be easy. You made a good job of all those alterations. Your gift mugs are always lovely.
@soontobeoap, your diamond painting projects are lovely. Oh how disappointing for you re the painting sealing. I hope you have managed to save it. Good work on the cards though; I’d still count them individually. 13 pencil cases, wow, They are cute. Glad you’re having fun with your crafting toys.
@Tiggermad, you HAVE been busy making cards. They’re great! I don’t sell or fundraise either. I just give them away to anyone who wants them, or donate them for raffles or suchlike.
@daisy_1571, I love your map table! BTW In your folded table pc, I’m sitting about a third of the way across from the left of the centre panel (about middle of leftmost newel post) and about a sixth of the way down from the top, lol. I’m waving to you, turning in a circle, to be sure I’m facing you at some point. I’ve never done decopatch and I’ve given myself a stern talking to about even thinking about it!
@sammykaye18, I hope you are all on the mend now and being crafty, inside or out.
@Auti, what a cute puppy! Lucky boy. It actually looks like fabric rather than yarn.
@plumduff55, lovely wee pink cardi and scarf. I like the baby set too,
@old_fogey, I do like a magnetic bookmark; yours are great. I can smell those lavender bags from here!
@Katiehound, cute stamped card. I think I’ll have to check my ink pads too, as it’s a loooong time since I used them. … I store them upside down, so here’s hoping. I’ve got a lot of stamps that I’ve never used. I’ll need to start a decluttering list – and then start decluttering! I did get rid of a lot of stuff when I moved my crafting into the bigger room but The wee pouches are lovely, as usual. Thanks for the heads up re Christmas fabrics. I will look at what I’ve got before a look for new stuff this time, maybe. I prefer to make 5x7 or 6 x 6 cards. However, I do make all sizes. I cut my own cards from A4, and when I cut 5 x 7 cards, there’s 4 inch strip left, so I’ve started using this for little 4 x 4 note/gift cards. This size is also great for using up smaller toppers.
@AlwaysAllie, great keyrings. The spec and pen holders on lanyards is a fab idea – combining the two would suit me perfectly. I’m forever leaving pens and specs – somewhere?
@DdraigGoch, Hello! Here, at the very least, you’ll find plenty of ideas for what to do with your stash! We’ll all be watching out for what you’ve made.
@AnimalTribe, remember to let us see what you’ve made!

@Greentiger is your SIL s name Rory? I just love the cat card. It is very clever and funny.
I am hoping to use up my left over curtain fabric stash to create bags for charity sale. Your bag is beautiful. Would you mind sharing your pattern? I have read up on it but not sure how I line them.
Would also love to see a pic of your gds shrug.

@greentiger beautiful crafts! Im so jealous at your crafting mojo! I am feeling more human, on a weightloss journey now to help all aspects of health, family are all good, garden is making progress so now time to get some crafting done or at least progressing!
I am going to take a leaf out of your book.
May Goals- Do some more of the cross stitch I got for Xmas - I have done one line and already messed it up by not watching where I was stitching properly but I think its easily corrected.
- I need 4 Xmas cards so will get those done this month.
- Sons turning 20 (some of you will remember the wiggly newborn I joined the forums with! Yes that's him!) so need to do a birthday card for him.
- 2 penpal letters that need to be written and sent
- Go through fabric box and cut some old clothes up into manageable pieces and try and use some up!
Time to find me again8 -
Hi, seems like I've not been on here for ages - I have a big ongoing garden project at the moment which is keeping me preoccupied.
Ive still been busy knitting and quilting and have just finished the baby girl knitted set. I've just started another cerise set - pictures to follow as soon as it's finished.
MAY'S PLANS
Finish baby waistcoat and bootees - if I have enough wool 🤞
Finish scrappy blue quilt - this should be easy as I only have the binding left to do.
Sew 2 pillowcases from an unwanted bed sheet.
Start another quilt - possibly with all my pink/peach/purple scraps.
Plan my summer knitting project which is always something using up very dark wool as I find it impossible to knit with dark wool in the winter. Here's the pink baby set using wool and buttons from my stash 😀Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Now to mention all the lovely makes posted recently.
Greentiger - your Xmas crochet is beautiful
Soontobeoap - I love your beaded card and the stencil pencil cases.
AlwaysAllie - your fabric glasses holders are great, maybe something I could use my scrap fabric on.
Oldfogey - your cross stitch is lovely. I don't think my eyesight would allow me to do this now.
Florenceem - As always you've made lots of beautiful cards. You've given me an idea with the mugs you made. I think I shall start looking out for novelty mugs in the charity shops. I could fill them with sweets for grandkids at Xmas.
Animaltribe and DdraigGoch Welcome to this very friendly thread. It's kept me motivated to use wool and fabric from my stash.
Happy crafting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

If I make a lined bag I make outer & lining the same , leave a smallish gap in a side or bottom seam on lining for turning . Join outer to lining along top edge (inside out!) Sewing the handles in at the same time. Turn right side out & 2 lines of top stitching along top edge to make handles secure. Sew up small gap in lining.
Or for (maybe) stronger bag sew handles on the outsideBeing polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
