Great use of the die cut machine @soontobeoap
Love seeing everyone's makes and welcome to the newcomers 👋
Nothing new to report make wise but I've been in Seattle for a week visiting an old friend. On my way home today and I'm definitely feeling inspired!!7 -
plumduff55 said:Now to mention all the lovely makes posted recently.
Greentiger - your Xmas crochet is beautiful
Soontobeoap - I love your beaded card and the stencil pencil cases.
AlwaysAllie - your fabric glasses holders are great, maybe something I could use my scrap fabric on.
Oldfogey - your cross stitch is lovely. I don't think my eyesight would allow me to do this now.
Florenceem - As always you've made lots of beautiful cards. You've given me an idea with the mugs you made. I think I shall start looking out for novelty mugs in the charity shops. I could fill them with sweets for grandkids at Xmas.
Animaltribe and DdraigGoch Welcome to this very friendly thread. It's kept me motivated to use wool and fabric from my stash.
Happy crafting xx8 -
I'm trying to be good a keep on track with finding out what you've all been up to. I've done nothing since last Friday, apart from deciding on colours from stash for another Christmas Eve Wishes blanket. This time I need another 2 balls of wool.
@Soontobeoap, yes my grandson is called Rory. He has a black and white cat called Jeffrey. I was struggling to think of what kind of card to make for him and found this border print card in my stash. It was rather pink and cutesy for a 16yo boy, hence trying to make it more humorous. His gift bag is the one with the guitars, as that’s his passion (he got another guitar for his birthday from his parents). I don’t know when I’ll get started on the shrug; I’m determined to get that blanket done first. That’s why I like to set goals for myself.
@sammy_kaye18, good luck with those goals!
@plumduff55, that’s a sweet little matinee set.
@Katiehound, I use that Morsbag pattern for curtain fabric bags. This year’s gift bags are all completely reversible. Every time I’ve finished one of those, I’ve gone, “Doh! I meant to put an applique on the lining!” Now I’ve written that in red in my notes, in hopes that I remember next time.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/409 -

I’ve been refining my latest make for my craft shop. Holders for pens and glasses that clip onto a neck lanyard. Great when you don’t have pockets! Test ran mine at work today and it was good.

plumduff55 - beautiful pink set.
plumduff55 - in the past I have done mugs with tiny packs of biscuits and tea bags or coffee/hot chocolate. I am Blessed that sometimes people donate mugs to the SA that I can use. I got the Easter mugs and egg cups from SA - I am the sorter for donations.

Don't all faint! I'm back already. But how long will I manage to keep it up?
@Florencem, great fabric for your aprons. Do they have a fixed/adjustable neck strap or do they have a draw cord that goes from the waist, up side of bib area and back down the other side? OH ….. no need to answer! I see on the grey bird one that it looks like a tie neck strap. They’re great.
