Welcome @animal tribe. We all have the odd slip up now and again and sometimes need to buy stugf to go with the bits we are using up. I have managed to clear 5 large plastic crates worth from the house in the last 2 years I am now planning to use up all of my fabric to make shopping bags for a charity sale in August. Just try to change your mindset to shop from your stash. Good luck.

@daisy_1571 It has been the year of finishing projects and getting things done. This forum has helped me so much.
1) I must confess that I have donated a crate of wool to craft club.
2and 3) Fabric and wadding used up for 3 Granddaughters quilts. I did have to buy a bit more for that last year too.
4) crate full of card making stuff has been made up into cards not only for me but also neighbours and charity, odd bits binned and some donated.
5) wool was made into baby blankets and some donated.
6) odds and ends of different crafts. Gems from diamond painting made into cards and more recently started on pencil cases. embroidery thread made into embroidered cards, some binca made into embroidered bookmarks, colouring and laminating sheets made into bookmarks, a pile of fabric made into rag wreaths at craft group. Small jars that neighbour gave me used for glass painting at craft group, decopatch papers and photo frames used up at craft group too.
I have also used up the large canvas and acrylic paints that I was given for Christmas on my isle of wight painting.
I have to keep reminding myself to finish the projects that I have the stuff for. The temptation to buy more is always there. I am also getting better at keeping craft group stuff at craft group. 😂

I popped into card factor. today to look at card prices as they are usually the cheapest place. Lowest price I saw was 49p - I used to see 5 for £1 or even better deals in there.
I haven't bought cards for years as I enjoy card making. I have a lot of bits given to me to make cards - plan to sell for 50p each.
I am going to make some aprons tomorrow.7 -
painted designs on 13 pencil cases from my sisters stash. I did buy some POSCA pens for £20.00. They are now all ready for craft group to diamond paint.

Soontobeoap - wow - did you stencil or freehand the designs? How will they do diamond painting - is the ink sticky?
4 -
@florenceem The roses and rainbows are stencils and the bees and ladybirds are free hand. After painting I apply tack it (you can buy it online) to small areas, at a time. It remains sticky just like diamond painting cards and, pictures normally do and then modge podge over the top to seal. Takes more time but you use up all of the left over gems and get to create your own designs. Very satisfying.
