Starmist also a bargain at £2.12 a ball- but colours now limited but includes pale gold- seems to retail elsewhere @ up to £3.50.
They also have some of the new Starmist Multi -iridescent colours- they have the base colour plus 'oil on water' colour sparkle- @ £2.44Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

old_fogey - Lovely cross stitch makes.
Katiehound - wow - where did you sell all those cards? Do you mind me asking how much you price cards at? Great pouches. I am not going to be tempted - I bought so much Christmas fabric last year.
Finished some cards.

Wrote a long reply and it disappeared!
I sell the bulk of cards to a shop who add their own mark up.
They order certain themes such as pink & blue baby, wedding, cats & dogs, birthday & sentiments. So I make a stack & then they choose the designs. Sorry I am not going to divulge the price, it certainly doesn't pay for my time but it is a hobby I enjoy.
These days I try to use stuff that I have got: masses of card, lots of great stamps plus inks. This time I will need to buy some ink pads due the perishing ones!I also need a load of envelopes & perhaps some cellophane bags.
All the cards are folded A 5.
Most are stamped designs which are then embossed plus maybe punched embellishments.
Think I tied about 50 small bows!
I am lucky that I bought most of the stamps a while ago when crafting was the 'in' thing- I have some great HeroArts ones from USA. Looked online today and the choice isn't great- or it is great but very expensive.
This morning I cut a load of 6" lining squares. I had quilted quite a few 'outers' so need to start assembling. I only made one pyramid when I was away & broke yet another needle!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Wow - that is a lot for a set of stamps.
I have bought a lot of stamps during the years - some are unused.
I am trying to use up the Hunkydor sets that I have been given.
The cards I make are 6 inches square or 5 x 7 inches.
At my hairdressers today I saw cards for sale - 2 for £1 - not in cello bags - I always put mine in bags to keep them clean. I just had to order some cello bags.
Finished some more cards.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Went a bit crazy at the fabric shop - loads of lovely designs, I wanted small repeats cos I am making small things! First up some wristlet style keyrings (that’s the reverse of the bees - the front has whole bees 😂)

Great makes everyone. I must get back into cardmaking!
Particularly loved that table @daisy_1571 what did you use to stick it? Would love to know how well it behaves too!
Good to see you back @sammy_kaye18
I'd say its made a very good job of sticking. I feel its made the surface feel quite protected - I wouldn't like to spill a cup of tea on it but I fairly briefly put my hot mug on it and it stayed hard whereas I'd wondered if the heat would immediately soften it. I've had a pile of papers on one of them for several days and the bottom one stuck enough that if you knocked the table it wouldnt slide like the upper ones would, but it was easily lifted without issue. So I'm fairly pleased with it but perhaps the right kind of varnish would give a more professional surface if it was terribly good furnitureor you wanted to be sure it would last a long time.

Did my good turn for the week- taking neighbour & dog to the vet this afternoon.
Since I was going there I took the only 3 pouches that I have made recently- they had 5 left last week. Today only 2 left & one of the ones I put in the basket on the counter sold whilst I stood there! No guesses as what I need to do......Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
