Everyone is being so creative and busy. Loving all the makes.
I've finally got round to looking through some old maps i had thought would be useful somewhere. I picked one and have fairly successfully covered a little folding table that has become quite marked. They are no good to sand and re polish as only veneered but hopefully this will work once 7sing ut for tea mugs etc. It will need a bit more sticking once it has dried as I see a couple of corners aren't quite stuck but im pleased

Hi All
Im just checking in and wanted to say hello and let you know I am so jealous of the makes you've all been so busy making.
I had the husband poorly with this horrid flu thing that's doing the round so his asthma was playing up too and it held on for a good few months so crafting has been to a minimum for me at the minute other than my bullet journal.
Yesterday I enjoyed the sunshine and spent the day sorting the garden, laying some weed membrane down, organising boxes to plant up and getting some more seeds planted in the greenhouse.
I think today will be a peaceful day of sorting through my craft desk and making a plan of things to do/make/finish etcTime to find me again9 -
daisy_1571 - great idea on the table.
Yesterday I made some doll house curtains for a friend - one room in the doll house is going to be a theatre. The curtains will be pulled back - I told her to get some embroidery thread and plait it to make tie backs. I have never made such tiny curtains. Fabric was in my stash. I left pins in the curtain edges to try and keep them on the cane hanging stick until she fitted them in the doll house..
Finished more Christmas cards.

@tiggermad your cards are beautiful and so clever.
@daisy_1571 the map decopage on your little table is a brilliant idea. Its given it a new lease of life. I love it.
@Florenceem you are always so busy. I really dont know how you find the time to fit in all of your crafting, decluttering and work for the SA as well as looking after Mr F.
I did not start the day well. I decided that today was the day to seal my iow painting. Bought the stuff, read the instructions carefully but when i applied it the paint ran and smudged. I have spent a lot of time cleaning up the edges and repainting an area that the paint came off of! It jas taken a lot of patience and I still have to reseal it! I will let you know if I am successful and manage to save it. 10 Christmas cards from last years for my neighbour today. Made this for my child - he loved the feel of the yarn in the shop. For me i think it is not so good to work with (much prefer my micro crochet) but I am very happy he likes it
