One to report- an exploding box card for my dad's 60th. It took a bit of working out, and the sides might be a bit too big really, but the inside wobbly bits all work well. I also have no idea where to write the message... But it looks fun and a bit a outlandish which is what I wanted.ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I Love Crad Making but that is Absolutely Brilliant!Message on the garage roof!~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 6/20 (7 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 20 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1934.34 / £2025 (95.5%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £14,986.67 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing8 -
greentiger said:Well January fairly whizzed by!
My January projects
* hearts for AHEART4MCR project (I did buy a wee bag of tartan scraps last year, just for this)
* crochet hat for my daughter (poor soul inherited her Dad's huge bonce and can't even find a beanie that fits!)
* some Christmas cards!I have to say that taking that break from finding projects to use up what I’ve got and doing something (the Noel blanket) because I really wanted to do it, does seem to have kickstarted my mojo!
What I actually finished –
* 20 hearts
* 2 crochet hats (1 for DD and 1 for charity appeals), BTW, DD's hat had to be redone a few times as even XL size wasn't big enough, lol. I did say she had a big bonce, poor lass.
* 5 Christmas cards
* chunky scrapghan (yes I ripped it out and started all over again. I have used up all but a few metres of the chunky wool I had accumulated, woo hoo!) – it’s a lot bigger than I intended and weighs a ton, should be warm, right enough
My February projects
* more hearts for AHEART4MCR project* 2 Chinese New Year cards
* Valentine card
* 2 birthday cards
* 1 birthday bag
* some Christmas cards!
MAYBE I'll get to
* ‘Christmas Eve Wishes’ blanket – using mainly stash wool, but will have to top up with a couple of balls of matching wool
* a little sewing project that's been picked up on and off
Thses are ALL ABSOLUTELY AMAZING & FANTASTIC!I haven't done much crafting over the past couple of weeks because I've been decluttering the house and all the outside space. It's all done and just got to clean out the gutters before I embark on the dreaded shed! I've got another load of arty stuff all wrapped and boxed up in there, but I can't for the life of me remember what all the stuff is, so it'll be like a wonderful crafty shopping spree, but without the cost:.
I've been selling bits and pieces off on eBay as I have excess of some items and I just know I don't and won't need 3 large boxes of envelopes, backing papers, gems, stickers and so the list goes on!~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 6/20 (7 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 20 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1934.34 / £2025 (95.5%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £14,986.67 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing9 -
Love the Teddy knickers @Florenceem
Two (beauty and the beast) canvases painted this week-one repurposed and one I had to buy-to cover chilly caravan vents.
We had a second caravan delivered but they couldn't site it as their 4x4 broke. So it's currently sat teetering in the garden 🤦🏼♀️

Been very lazy but have got my dressmakers dummy out to put to use, will make my life very much better. Looked at my list again of things I could/should be making. In my defence I have been sorting the yard out as growing season is galloping towards us.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Loving everyone’s makes, you really are very talented folks. Thought you might like to see the patchwork comforter and pillow shams in place. I am very pleased with how it’s turned out and all matches the colours in bedroom. Will give a bit more life to my comforter as well. The crocheted blanket is the one I made too.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

suzeesu2000 LOVE the patchwork number!There's a real mixture of fantastic talents. I have great respect for anyone who knits or sews anything, as I'm useless. Well, I say that, but I do mend and fix, so the needle and thread does make an apprearance a few times each year!
Perhaps it's more a case of, I'm not as enthusiatic or passionate about these areas of crafting.

Really enjoying seeing such a variety of different makes! I’ve been continuing with wooden ‘things’ though have cut out a batch of phone/book/tablet sleeves.14

They sorted out the pay issues. I was a bit gutted to have to go back to be honest. Not that I can afford not to work. But unlike the idea.I’ve done more crochet. And wound more wool. It’s not exactly awe inspiring but it’s focused and some small progress.54 out of whatever target I set.I’m half way through the next pink row. To remind me wheee I’ve counted until.I’m going g to try to get rid of some craft stuff. I need to be a bit brutal. If it’s never going to get used it needs to be recycled.Im loving all the updates and progress reports. I may not be able to keep up with what is like to be making but its nice to see the makes of others.
