More superb makes from everyone.I’m half way through sewing some phone /glasses/book covers for my next fair. More wood decor too incl these that I made from a piece of wood I found in a tree…..yes really, by the river after a flood so it must have floated down!

Hi, I've finished the baby cardie and started an Aran weight cardigan for myself. The cardigan for myself is in a block pattern with cables in between each block. The blocks are stocking stitch and blackberry stitch and I am loving the way it is knitting up. I might post a pic later.
@Florenceem you've been very busy. I love your mugs and aprons. The hat I knitted is Fair Isle. The yarn is stranded at the back making it very warm.Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order

Another 2 cards to report. No great shakes, but a bit more used up. Slowly getting through the enormous stash of double sided sticky tape I ordered in lockdown(!)- only two rolls left! My mojo is still very much absent, but plodding on will help in the end no doubt.

Got all my seashells, paints and bits out to make some pretty things. Hopefully they will be good enough to sell. Will be making more shadow boxes, sold them last time I made them. Have everything needed, even going to do more jewellery too, if I say so myself, I love the earrings I make. Also be able to make my own paper beads again asa I was bought a machine as a gift - will be able to use some of the papers I have too. Even newspaper makes lovely beads. No costs as I have everything😊Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Please do show the paper beads and machine when you make some - I had some manual bead rollers and just sold them cos I didn’t really get in with them and struggled to make consistent sizes etc. Do you glaze your beads or leave them’raw’.suzeesu2000 said:Got all my seashells, paints and bits out to make some pretty things. I’m aiming to finish one single bed quilt I started 20 plus years ago ( made from scrap fabric) and mend a 36 yr old cot quilt that has frayed material , and finish 2 jumpers, i’ve semi banned myself from charity shops so I don’t buy any more wool or clothing/ fabric 🙈11

Glaze them Allie or they fall apart when wet. If someone gets a bit sweaty or caught out in a shower etc. quick enough if you use the spray glaze /varnish. I thought I had some paper pads left but, looking through, I can see I sold them when I did my big declutter last year. No spending though as the local shop are going to let me have some free wallpaper sample books - lovely man. Will definitely show you some when made. XAlwaysAllie said:

Here’s the little gadget. It’s a bit fiddly to start with but much easier than using quilling tools. For honest disclosure, I made a few beads but didn’t cut the paper properly as I will when making “real” ones.AlwaysAllie said:
