This time last year I think I had made most of next years christmas cards. I havnt had time to do anything yet. I am loving all of the lovely crafts on here and I am very envious. Cant wait to get going but off to Antigia on Saturday so will have to wait until February. I have embroidered one bookmark and coloured in another as examples for craft club. Forgot to get photos. 😕. Last night I mended 3 t shirts for our hols. So counting everything as 3 altogethercraft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

@Soontobeoap How wonderful - you must be so excited.
I went on a Caribbean cruise for my 60th birthday and spent my actual birthday on Antigua. It was brilliant. During the cruise while my friend was sunning herself, I found a secluded area on deck and spent my time knitting an Aran jacket for my dgs. I can never sit and do nothing.
I hope you have a wonderful time xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Thanks @plumduff55. We, are actually travelling out to meet our son who is about to finish "the worlds toughest row," 3000 miles from lagomara to Antigua. He has been rowing since 13th December. Once I see him safe, and sound I can enjoy the holiday.
Just before we left for my daughter on laws at lunch tiime I managed to take in a cardigan that my DD bought me for my birthday. I like fitted ones and this was baggy but it was crochet look and very pretty. Cant believe that I did it in time for hols. 🎉🎉. Thats another 1 for me.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

@Soontobeoap What an achievement for your son - you must be very proud.
I completely understand how you're feeling. My eldest son is a right daredevil and climbed Mont Blanc on his own last year. Very foolhardy but he won't listen to me. I was a bag of nerves till I heard he was back down safe and sound. Now I'm waiting to hear what his next exploit will be 🫣.
Have a wonderful holiday once your son's back on dry land xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

flip me this is dragging on a bit. This afternoon I spent time weaving in all the yarn ends on my squares. Oh what a boring, tedious chore that is/was. I hate that bit of any knitting or crochet project.Have started sewing together for the back, hope to have finished all sewing by Saturday tea time then will deal with cuff ends Saturday evening.Saw a brilliant idea for a padded crochet square blanket today. You crochet a solid square but in a way that creates a little bag as you are crocheting. - I don’t yet know all the right terms so forgive me. Then you stuff the bag and join all together. Lady I saw was doing 3” square which meant she needed 18x18 (324) squares. I know they are small but that would drive me insane. Will probably do one but squares will be bigger.Hope everyone is doing great, I love this forum.
