First project completed using my new mitre saw - some very old used wood complete with nail holes, cut sanded and waxed with added words, string and an old key.14 -
I’ve been busy. Doing nothing. I was back to work today but due to an issue with my agency they cannot pay me so I said I’d come home until it was sorted out. Score. But no money while I’m here.I have wound wool.I have crocheted.I have built a ginger bread house.I have planted some pots of seeds that will go into a planter to look like hair.I have done my nails. Used build a gel instead of acrylics and painted them with gel and covered them in glitter. I’m counting this as it was crafty and saved me £40 odd quid.46 - 150I still need to put up the curtain pole.I need my dishwasher to be replaced so will need to purchase one of these and I think I’m stuck with one from ikea as the original is from there. But the kitchen is kind of ok it’s last legs so maybe hang back and get it all done in one. It’s all a mess and I have plans to move and don’t know what to do or where to start…

Hi, just finished the Barbie accessories - thank goodness. Very fiddly work especially the clothes that were sewn. Everything I used was from my stash except the pink Barbie fabric. I bought this from EB and it cost under £7 inc postage. I've bought a nice pink box from TKMaxx costing £5.99 and I'll post the gift on Thursday. Dgd is 4 next week and I know she will absolutely love this gift. I gave her a preschool Barbie for Xmas and 1 knitted outfit. Most of the patterns were from a book I bought 40 years ago. I also got some free patterns from Ravelry. Here's the photosDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order

Thanks @Soontobeoap
@daisy_1571 My daughter had a Sindy and my patterns were bought for her. When I was a child I had Tressy. You could wind a button on her back and her hair "grew". I'd forgotten all about her till you mentioned Sindy.

Lucky little girl having you. What a beautiful gift. I had 2 sandy dolls as a child. Mum would give me offcuts of fabric that I could make into clothes for them. Think that’s what started me off.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal
