Lots of lovely makes 😍
My makes this week has been 2 dishcloths and a floor cloth. Very boring but needs must. These will last me the full year as they are very strong.
I'm now back to knitting a long jacket for myself. I started it months ago and keep getting waylaid with other projects. I had finished the back and sleeves So now just the fronts and border to do. Not looking forward to the border as it has more than 400 stitches 😱.

I have finished my mitred lap blanket and am just waiting for the blocking mats to turn up - I bought 2 of the packs which fit together like jigsaw pieces, so it's size-adaptable. However, some bright spark decided to make it a double-sided blanket (oh, yeah, that would be me
) so I have started with some wool I got given - it's a bit scratchy and one of those yarns of variable thickness, but it knits up quite quickly and looks nice so shouldn't take me more than a few weeks to finish.

Finished jacket, did a nice blue collar. Wore it today while I was inventorying the freezers, first time I haven’t froze my butt off. Had to wear woolly gloves too but stayed warm. Think this jacket will double as a winter dressing gown too. Win win.

Changed my mind and knitted leg warmers. Did different patterns as I get bored knitting same pattern. Came up very quickly and I am now able to wear them. Warm knees = heaven🤣
